I am an 11 yr Vet and for 18 months I worked at a Homeless Veterans Shelter. The problem is much worse than they will tell you. God bless our current Military and Vets.
Just because you were tossed-aside and discarded by the government of the country you fought for, does not make you any less of a hero. I will proudly solute you. God bless you all. 👍🏻
It never fells that Creed Fisher can make a grown man cry.... thank you to all who have sacrificed their lives and the one's who are still doing it today. God Bless America from sweet home Alabama
This really hits deep in my heart. And now along with us having homeless veterans here in 2020 now we are fighting the Coronavirus issue. God bless each and every one and God bless the USA. Hooah!
My father did 2 tours in Vietnam so he could get his boys out alive and still couldn't. So sad. I believe your songs should go viral for I know you care. Thank you for trying to keep our country
This has a really powerful message. The wonderful thing about the Lord Jesus is that he always loves us and we can always count on him. Thanks for this dude.
Beautiful song. It's always gut wrenching to see how our vets and war vets are treated by our government. Instead of free healthcare and free tuition why not make sure our warriors are taken care of like our nation depends on it because it kinda does. God bless the American soldier
this song has meant so much to me & touched my soul from the very 1st time i ever heard it...& now, after seeing this & hearing your version, i am literally in tears, my entire soul is crying...you have touched a space within my spirit that's not easily done. Absolutely Mesmerizing Musical & Spiritual Experience.
Thank you Creed! As I get older and my hair that I have left turns grey, I think of all my brothers and sisters in arms. After 21 years of serving this great nation I will still stand up and defend her. No Vet should be homeless, we have paid for the comfort that folks enjoy here. Thank you brother for this song!
I’m not a vet. However, I feel this song a lot, because if it wasn’t for Jesus in my life and my adopted family I don’t know where I’d be. When I was a kid I always felt I wasn’t good enough or that I was in the way. My adopted family always remind me I’m never in the way. They love me and I’m perfect the way I am mistakes and all.
Thank you for this! No they shouldn’t be homeless! As the daughter of a Vietnam Veteran & the niece of a retired Marine I thank you so much for this! God bless our military!
Disabled veteran, waited 40 years for the help I needed, and finally got it, from the VA anyway. Funny how not one soul who made me feel like shit for 40 years ever said they were sorry or finally understood my pain. Hard to forget. God bless our veterans!
Creed, I reckon' my Papa' fought for this country back in the Korean war, he survived that just to have my uncle and one of his brother's wife, my aunt(by marrage) shove him in a nursin' home bout' 2 hours away at least, he was my best friend, the closest one I had, I only saw him once since he'd gotten put in there, that was a week fore' my eighth birthday, that was the last time I saw him, I knew it too, that day I saw him, once we'd said goodbye I knew it was the last one, sure enough, the day fore' my eighth birthday I lost him, I lost a large part of myself that day, it took me literally 9 years to leave my past behind me, I was in a dark place fore' that but I was missin' part of myself when I lost him, 9 years later and I'm back to bein' as Army strong as that man was, Amen n' God bless you and your loved ones, this song hit home
@@apabones: Well, I suppose it might sound a couple million different ways to different folks, but I reckon' it couldn't have been any more real, any more painful and it certainly couldn't have been any more of hell to lose the closest person to me, I thank the good lord evety day that I at least have my sisters for close realatives left
This is a problem all over the world, Servicemen know what they're signing up for, yet they do... and the least that can be done is to give those who have served special status and funding to help them deal with civilian life... it's nothing short of inhumane and atrocious, they've risked their lives, come back damaged... to all of you who've served, God bless you...
The guy at 2.27 I seen him a few times...I will help him next time I see him...and Mr. Creed thanx for supporting the troops the way u do...most my family are veterans it's hard on them.
😭😭😭 This is the saddest thing I've ever seen, even though i know it is the truth. It tears my heart out to see this. I hope to someday be able to help the people who have given their lives for my freedom. My life goal is to be the first millionaire in my family and to spend most of it on the people in our country who matter most. Our Veterans. 😭😭😭😭
You can always love your self. Society doesn't get to tell you what you have been through. Society is just passed off that their story is not on the view.
My Dad was a ww2 vet, seen em used up by people, then when He lost it in His older years,He was the worst of all people, give your Rose's to to these vets when they are living, because when they're gone,an outward show don't mean a damn thing!!!!
Let me start of by saying I'm a big fan. My name is Michael Nation, I'm disabled Army veteran. I served 1997-2007. A couple of years ago I had an opportunity to fulfill a childhood dream. I was fortunate enough to get involved in a small independent film project as a cinematographer. I have struggled with pretty bad PTSD for many years. I had some pretty dark moments. I've finally gotten the help I needed. I'm doing so much better now. So I've decided to continue pursuing filmmaking. I've begun the early stages of a solo short film. It's about a deeply troubled veteran contemplates all that he has lost. The underlying theme is about the growing veteran's suicide crisis. The chorus line from your song "How far would I fall" , although it's about homeless veterans. Would be prefict for the closing of my film. As this is basically a no budget film, I would not have the funds to pay for usage rights. I was hoping you would consider donating the use of a small portion of the song to the project. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you for you time.
Absolutely terrible. How can a country that spends so much on their defense budget be so careless about the ones who actually do their dirty work in the field? It's the inequality in the US I hate more than everything. Vets should be honored, helped finacially and sheltered. These guys deserve the utmost respect.
Brother just want you to know your music is some of the best music I have heard in a long time your words have true meaning to them keep the music coming.i would like to purchase your CD's how do I do so.
I'm a vet and Everytime I see a Homeless I Don't usually give them money. Because, I always think that they're going to use it for alcohol. So I'll go give him a bag of fast food.
71 years old how was drafted to Vietnam in 1968 one year before my 18th birthday give me a minute the truth is way more painful when you see it like this think about who you're going to vote for president Nixon was a thief Johnson was a war monger but on a brighter note when the government comes for your guns killing the bullets first I will relinquish my right to bear arms One clip after another come get some wolf 🐺 Lynn Massachusetts

I'll tell you why Daniel. When we get home they(for the most part the public) could care less about us. The VA is a bloated, useless department that doesn't give a damn about us. After a conflict we have some serious issues that will never go away. Mental and physical. The Veterans come home and are left to our own devices on how to survive. .. Mr. Fisher hammers home that nail. I have no clue what is wrong with this country that I went to war for on six different occasions. Anyway enough of my rant. Stay safe out there... - SGM
