My Ioniq 5 died a few times and used my portable 12v jump pack to get going. My12v was under warranty but dealer had none in stock so went to Costco and purchased an H5 AGM, much better battery and warranty. Have had no issues since. Side note, my Hyundai app kept sending messages to my phone if the door was not locked, think this could hav contributed to running my 12v down to8.8v thus notable to start the car. Good luck with this.
Would a trickle charger help avoid this issue? In other brands when the 12V is drained or dead, it hurts the module in the car connecting the 12v to the HV battery.
@@WilmingtonEV I 100% agree they need to resolve this but they really haven't been. This is an ongoing issue that pops up. I was thinking about the trickle charging as preventative so owners can get the recall work done without having to risk ICCU damage and the car stalling out when out and about.

Same here, Ioniq 6, original battery dead a couple of times, replaced it myself using AGM battery. no issues since.

I tried a charger but did not help. It should not need me to trickle charge the 12v. The HV should charge it as needed. . KIA need to fix the problem

@@WilmingtonEVI also wonder is just keeping the car plugged in whenever possible would help delay the issue from popping up.
