Thanks for the great video. I just ordered one of these camera's and I think I'll love it when it gets here. Thanks again for the fabulous review. Got right to the point and showed us all we truly need to know.
I bought this camera a couple of years back from Walyworld. Thought I would upgrade from the cheap Tasco's I got a couple of years prior (I have 4 of them). Never could get it to work right. Very short range like,15 feet. Night vision died last year completely. Cheap Tasco's still running strong.
I just purchased one like yours but it is a 18mp. I got mine to catch people throwing trash where I work. While testing it, I found that it is a bit slow. I'm already out of frame by the time it takes the picture. I will also have to put tape over the red light that flashes, when it takes a picture. That red light will give away the location where I hang it.
Thanks for the review. Gonna pick one up now because there’s someone snooping in my backyard at night and has gotten in the house while I was not home and broken my things. Hopefully this puts an end to it.
How did it work for you? I'm about to buy a couple of them. I am having my neighbors sneaking on my property and stealing stuff and now started messing with my zero turn mower..
@@Schneeef I have this camera . Night shots not too good. Good day pictures though. Also caught someone stealing. Had tree branches in front of camera , so it took 500 pictures. Still experimenting .
IDIOT-PROOF REVIEW! :) This review is so well-explained and thorough that this is pretty-much all you'll need to learn how to use this trail camera! It's because of this guy and his previous video, "Comparing trail cameras Tasco and Wildgame," that I went out and bought one of these cameras! :) Thank you so very much for explaining the camera's operation in great detail; and, for filming and posting this video! :)
@Ben Lewis - Yes, they certainly do! Have you seen the other awesome videos this guy, post 10, has made with his trail camera(s)? They ROCK as well! :)
@Ben Lewis - Just 'click' post 10 on this video; then, search his videos for trail camera videos. He has awesome videos of wildlife eating at his feed stations he built; his tarantula; neighborhood animals; etc! :)
I use rechargeable AA batteries in mine. They seem to last for at least 2 months. That's when I switch memory cards. Don't forget to "format" the new card.
Post I’m having a problem with my camera. Same as this one in video but it just opened it a few months back out of its original packaging. Never been out in the woods and it won’t turn on. Same batteries and SIM card (32). Do you have any suggestions?
Mine is taking pictures every 30 seconds. What the heck. 100s of pictures of nothing. Tried to call the company. Tired of waiting on hold. Is this normal to take 2 pictures per minute?
I have two of them one won’t turn on after two seasons of use, and the newer one which I got for last season it freezes when it turns on then maybe if I’m lucky it will unfreeze after about a minute and will take one picture and then it freezes up again and I have to open up the battery compartment to reset it. Eh they were both 38 dollars on BF so what can I really expect.
Ebay or Amazon, buy a card reader that can fit your phone, If you have an android you may need to convert the avi files to mp4 to view them. If it is set to picture taking it doesn't need converting
It is quiet and at night you will see a red glow of the night vision. After you stop pressing buttons it will start taking pictures or videos after 30 sec
Just download a video editing app and when you select the files it can automatically read them then you save your completed project in the format you want, when I select the files they appear to be blank and empty but the video editor can read them
it’s useless when you buy it it’s more likely not to work than work they will not return calls or your email to help you I am speaking from experience I have been trying for 5 straight days now to get them to return my calls or emails to help me with there trail cam that wasn’t working and still not working when I took it out if the box I wouldn’t not purchase anything from them they will take your money and forget all about you
@@smokesumm3156 yes I would recommend this camera. This has very clear pictures, videos. It never over exposes. It's not too sensitive so you won't get pictures of snowflakes things blowing in the wind. The first trail camera I bought was the cheapest to store had, that camera was super Overexposed at night and had low quality pictures. So I decided to go to a mid-range price camera, I chose this one and it's awesome. Thanks for watching.
@@post.10 thank you soo much for the reply after watching your review and getting your thoughts on it ill be getting one pretty soon to try and use it for anything creepy in the mountains ive watch your other videos and its great content keep up the good work 💯💯

This really helped me, thank you very much for this

had two for year . only thing i do not like is you can not set the amount of photo's when tripped. price is right though

I bought 3 camera from them and they can’t find my order. The costumer service is the worst..

I just purchased a Terra 12 .I don't have a computer.where or how do I find the correct adapter so I can view pictures on my phone?
Ebay or Amazon, buy a card reader that can fit your phone, If you have an android you may need to convert the avi files to mp4 to view them. If it is set to picture taking it doesn't need converting
Can you cover up the red light so no one can tell they are having pics taken?
What is the difference between images and pictures in the settings.
I probably use both terms images in pictures but they are the same thing, stills. Sorry for any confusion, thanks for watching
I dont have a computer. Am I screwed?
Or, since you have an iPhone...you buy an Apple SD card reader and import them right to your photo album on your phone. I have 5 of the same kind
How do you delete the photos from the disk? Thanks
Thanks I couldn't read the instruction prints to small.
Great review!!
How far the camera take a pictures?
From 0 to 30 feet. Can't find if it has a sensitivity mode... I'd like it to take more pictures.
How do you know if it's taking pictures? Is there a light or something that goes off when it's taking a picture?
It is quiet and at night you will see a red glow of the night vision. After you stop pressing buttons it will start taking pictures or videos after 30 sec
You should practice inside before real use, I did
post 10 alright thank you for the info. During the day will there be any indicator light when it's taking a picture?
No daytime lights during use but there is a flashing light for the first min so you can make sure it sees you
post 10 alright thank you. Good video. It convinced me to get one
Which AVI converter do you use?
Just download a video editing app and when you select the files it can automatically read them then you save your completed project in the format you want, when I select the files they appear to be blank and empty but the video editor can read them
Great video
I have the same cam and I got 1336 pics over night, any way to adjust sensitivity??
There isn't any way to adjust it but try to avoid placing it near tree branches that move in the wind. Check for things setting it off.
How much does it cost at worldmart?
$48 from amazon or maybe cheaper on ebay if you get the right seller
Walmart had them today for 48$ I bought one
Right now at academy you can get three of these for 100 dollars
I bought a batch of 4 for $130 on ebay.
Quite cheap for their function. I gotta get this 1 🤣

Mine just quit at a battery change out, I agree completely junk
Does anyone know the name of the app you have to download on your phone to see the pictures I don’t know it
You shouldn't need an app for pictures but I use Youcut video maker to convert the videos this camera makes
Mine says Err
