Just traded in my Slash 2 x 4 for this BEAST... Maaaan, what an upgrade!!! Very powerful machine, my only complaint is the steering is a little slow but for a basher it's ok. It looks very good next to my X-Maxx. Thanx for tje review it pushed me to it!👍🏼
Haha we were just taking about this! Awesome Chris! So glad you started getting arrma! They have been on top the last 2 years imho and with the 3s, 4s, 6s trucks and the recent limitless and infraction they are doing big things in the rc world!
Chris Watson yeah true that We are real happy to get some modern rigs in Some Redcat and Traxxas models are getting really long in the tooth I don’t know who says long in the tooth anymore but I’m bringin it back lol
@@ChrisHouseHobby Haha I say long in the tooth! And yes I agree completely about traxxas! It amazes me a company that big and successful has changed so little the part ten years and you look at arrma that has all these new platforms and also the 6s line that is on v4! Traxxas is still selling V1s! And props to redcat for also starting to put out new stuff with those camo trucks and that monster truck last year! Great stuff Chris! I'm happy you now have arrma. Definitely won't hurt business!
Il take the vertical plates any day. The savage was/is a beast and I hope the reorganization is a big success. Very hard to beat the brutality the savage could take.
2 Shoes tvp chassis is super strong Not the nicest to work on but overall very cool I think HPI should rerelease the savage with heavier duty diffs and transmissions and they would have a winner ... only issue I see is price point Traxxas, redcat and Arrma are just killing it these days Good comment Chris
Chris's House RC Vehicles right now HPI seams to be a dead issue. If the buyout of HPI does not work out there will be no more HPI and that will be a big disappointment in the RC industry. They used to be a big player but I guess competition took a toll on them. Hope the buy out works out hate to see them go away.
Looks like another awesome Monster truck by ARRMA thanks for the review. I think that if you are going to compare it with a Redcat it matches up better with the Landslide than the Shredder. Would be an great shootout.
Those driveshafts are not like traxxas shitty driveshafts. I have my 4s kraton for now 3 months and they did not broke yet. But only heard a few poping out of the join but can easily be poped back in ussualy it happens because of a too tig slipper clutch. So no needs really to remplace the driveshafts
Glad you're finally carrying Arrma, some of the best stuff on the market right now...

Cool video my friend
Good review. I'm hitting the Outcast 4s up In a few month (only just got the k6) looks a fun little ripper. Have a sub 👹
Driveshafts are plastic but supposedly they are very tough and hardly anyone has problems with them. Btw the servo is the 15kg
Yes we have heard the same so far ... we haven’t sold any driveshafts yet for them :) Arrma is doing a great job these days

MY mom wont let me buy one because of the pentagram wheels and now she thinks the whole hobby is evil.
This comment made my day.... Thanks lol
@@ChrisHouseHobby Yea the local hobby shop guy didnt help when he said lipos can catch fire at any time so they need to be in a lipo bag.
