Dear Americans, this man is one of your biggest national treasures. Please, do your best to keep him warm and safe, for the sake of all mankind. Thank you
John the icon. The man keeps giving and contributing his outstanding music to all of us decade after decade. John Hiatt never ceases to amaze me. his lyrics have never been laconic nor tedious. He is a musical genius whose music has metamorphized and has both enthralled and mesmerized us over the last 50 years. Keep playing John. You are a blessing in the world of Blues and Bluegrass music.
Aren't we so lucky that John Hiatt, Steve Earle and Rodney Crowell, all buddies from 'Heartworn Highways' days are still with us and still making great music. Looking foward to this album!
How on Earth can ANYONE give this a thumbs-down? Hiatt is musically impeccable. Ditto for Jerry Douglas. Both national treasures indeed. I thank God every day for the kind of heavenly music like they deliver.
Nice to see John still with New West Records. He has been with them a long time now. Giving one of the greatest singer/songwriters that loyalty is unheard of these days. Love this song. Looking forward to the new disc.
Hi there, John Hiatt is an international treasure, loved and appreciated in Europe as well as - I'm sure - in many other parts of our world. One of the very best storytellers I've had the pleasure of meeting and listening to.... I am Dutch, living in Germany and at the ripe old age of 76 still moved by John's music. Here, with maestro Jerry Douglas and band, absolutely stunning!
Hiatt always gives the finest slide players on the planet a song worthy of their skills. This may be the best pairing of an amazing career. Just when I thought we’d heard the best of Mr. Hiatt we get this masterpiece! Astounding talent and perfect sensitivity and empathy from the greatest dobro player of all time. As good as it gets gentlemen!!

John, your voice is a treasure, but, beyond that, is your songwriting. I don’t want to say “never stop” but “keep going” sounds way better. Love your words, and your, GROOVE!
There's a Mississippi phone booth in my neighborhood. Great song. I love the match up with Jerry's band. John keeps climbing higher and higher with his music and performances.

I had the chance to see John and Lucinda at the Portland zoo years ago. It was a hot day in the sun and as I’m wiping the sweat off my face I hear John say these words I have never forgotten” there are only two things you need to know about God,One: There is a God and two: you aren’t him”
Tremendous! Fine, fine musicians. Both Messrs. Douglas and Hiatt are living legends, such a treat to hear them collaborate! Can't wait to hear the album!

I remember seeing John Hiatt play at the Cotati Cabaret back in the 80’s. Incredible venue. Highlight of one of those times was Aaron Neville walking onstage to perform a duet with John. Memories.
