"Farage Roared From Outside Parliament" Ben Habib Responds To Sacking As Reform UK Deputy Leader
Вставка
- Опубліковано 27 лис 2024
- Former Reform UK deputy leader Ben Habib says he is "concerned" about "the mechanisms by which decisions are made" within the party after he was replaced.
Joining Talk's Kevin O'Sullivan, he said: "Nigel lost his seat seven times, it didn’t stop him making one hell of a roar from outside Parliament."
Reform announced the parliamentary roles their MPs will be taking on as leader Nigel Farage aims to “professionalise” the party.
MP Richard Tice moves from the role of chairman to become deputy leader replacing Mr Habib, while Lee Anderson MP will become the chief whip.
Mr Habib has been a major player in Reform, serving as a Member for the European Parliament for the then-Brexit Party.
Reform returned five MPs in last week’s election but Mr Habib was one of the hundreds of unsuccessful candidates, finishing third in the Wellingborough and Rushden seat.

Nigel should appoint Ben in a senior role within the party even though he is not an MP. He is articulate, and will be a great asset to the party.
What a gentleman Ben Habib is he’s speaking common sense, he is articulate intelligent and a warm hearted human being. Please stay with the party Ben, you have done so much to wake up the British public. Thank you I love what you stand for and for who you are.
Its that reason they have thrown him under the bus .he didnt fit in .now they will be preaching reform at the mosques soon .
He wasn't sacked. He was replaced because the Deputy Leader should be an MP. He hasn't been ejected from the Party or anything. I hope he stays and continues to fight the good fight for Reform.
It is not a party its a registered business which will soon be bankrupt!!!!
I'd like to believe the media too, but have learned from experience. Ben is too heavy handed to appeal to the chattering classes, so was removed. The UK needs a firm hand, not a velvet glove.
They don’t have to be an MP
Hasn't been sacked but demoted.
Ben went straight on twitter to burn his bridges and bad-mouth ReformUK.
WE DON'T WANT PEOPLE LIKE THAT IN THE PARTY
What a humble man. Why haven't we got more politicians like this. I hope Ben stays and continues the fight for the silent majority
Humble? I think you should look at Cr David Bull’s reply to stepping down. Ben Habib was. Co-deputy leader with Dr David but their responses are vastly different. One steps down gracefully and ther’s ego is squawking like a stuck pig.
@@gwenstone8171 There was nothing derogatory about Ben's statement. I certainly didn't hear any squaking. Ben's a thoroughly nice man who was showing complete support for Reform. I hope Ben will still serve in the Reform Party in one form or another. Kevin was trying very hard to put words in Ben's mouth and it didn't work.
They should make Ben Habib Recruitment Officer for Reform UK
He is a great communicator and would bring thousands more into the party each month
We need and have great faith in Ben 😊
That’s a very good idea! HBen would be brilliant at this job!
Do you really think he will stay after being stabbed in the back

Ben you talks a lot of sense , bite your lip and stay with reform , it will be worth it in the end
And don't use this person to voice any issues. Yalk Talk are nothing but ambulance chasers for a story.

Ben is a wonderful man, full of integrity....such a shame he wasn't elected as an MP ....he's a huge asset to Reform UK
Pity his boss hasn't got any integrity as we have just seen .with sellout farage .
I hope Ben stays. We need people to push reform around the country.❤

YES I FEEL THE SAME😇
Reform for Islam! ☪️ Yusuf for prime minister!
But he is muslim? Reform don't like Muslims?
Why, the same people and counties that backed the Tories back Reform UK, including the Kremlin, that not even an opinion.
I love to hear Ben talk- so eloquent and a true gentleman. He is a great voice for Reform and should be valued and continue to drive the party forward.
Ben Habib is a valuable member. He needs to stay. Such an honourable man
Wellingborough let the UK down. Ben should have won that seat . Reform needs to keep Ben in Reform party he is so liked and appreciated by all Reform party voters . Please stay Ben we hold you in such high esteem and respect. 👍👍👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
I agree. i said that too when the election results came out..Wellingborough let our country down by not electing Ben...
I absolutely agree 💯
Ben Habib is a decent man and a great asset to the Reform UK 🇬🇧 movement.
Please don’t let him go like this Nigel!!!
How can a constituency, "let a country down". In a democracy the voters in a constituency choose the candidate they want, unless you believe democracy is only for people who agree with you.
Doesn’t look like anyone wants poor old Ben 😂😂😂
A great result when he was not elected.
I can see why the changes have happened, but Ben is a vital part of the Reform party.
I truly hope he's shown the respect he deserves and given a senior position!
I would put him in charge of co-ordinating the building of the 'movement', creating the nationwide network of canvassers and activists at constituency level that will support future parliamentary candidates in a way that was impossible at such short notice this time (and that would've made the C4 fiasco much more difficult to spring). The 'parliamentary party' has to be parliamentary in order to be a serious contender for government, or even opposition, in 2029. Otherwise they'll be seen as just another niche group of sad little activists like the Greens, with every seat considered a monumental victory. That's not the party any of us wants, including Ben, and I think his sacrifice will be temporary and pay dividends for the party and himself in the future in such a role. His obvious popularity among supporters makes him the perfect candidate for the role, freeing up those now in Parliament to focus more on their role without getting mired down in micro-management at grassroots level that is equally important, possibly more so.
Ben is a valuable asset to Reform I would hate to see him leave

My husband & i met Ben recently at a Reform U.K. Rally in Essex, just before the General Election. What a Nice Guy. We think it was a rushed decision, without consulting all the interested parties. Unfortunately, in life No one is perfect, & everyone makes errors. At this time, it seems the m.s.m are obsessed with finding fault with Reform U.K., but turn a complete blind eye to ALL the other Parties. Completely, Biased & Unfair. Talk T.V. at least gave Ben a Chance to air his story !!!!.
A big mistake! As a Reform voter we need Ben !He is one of the best!A Great man.❤
He tells lies...just like Farage. Get rid of Reform and its gullible idiot voters
Message to Ben the people and our Country needs YOU Ben
Well why can’t he win an election ? Nobody wants him not even Reform.
NOT!
Nigel and Richard should be putting him in charge of a team building up their grass root support in those constituencies where they had a good second or third place candidate. Or put him in charge of their central office until a suitable by-election comes along. I'd like to see him in the House but he could be doing so much outside it too.
Fake News.
