YES dude. This was one of my 4-on-the-floor pedals when I was interviewed on The Guitar Knobs Podcast last month.
I got this pedal because there were a few local bands that were playing it here in Nashville, and I just had to have it. I'd love to release my own overdrive/distortion mixing pedal someday.
If you make one I'd like to check it out!!
Wow. Kind of caught me off guard. Sounds far better than I thought it would. Good job, Ben!!! & not a distortion but I do like the Boss re 20 Space Echo.
That's a cool one!!
This pedal is versatile depending on how you dial the knobs. It can emulate any distortion and overdrive pedals...or any amp types. The color knob is the key. You can make it sound like a booster, fuzz, crunch...and bluesy overdrive. Rectifier tone for metal?...yes! (w/ the color knob @ 3:00. The amp you use also matters with the overall sound. Boss pedals. Like a screwdriver. You always need a few in the tool bag. Not always the most exciting but gets the job done. My favorite boss pedal is the DD-8. Been having a lot of fun with that one.

Everybody has their pedal man! I like the metal zone. I just picked up the os2 Over/Dist and it sounds great for what I play. I don't play the same as you and I don't have the same sound as you. Whereever your "comment" was supposed to go, sounded pretty cheap and arrogant to me.
Those are really great pedals. Simple and strong. Gets the job done. ✌🏻 🇨🇦

Good review. That was pretty much how I saw the pedal when I tried it. I didn't end up getting it. I am not a huge distortion player. I prefer cleans and not a lot of grit.

A Waza DC-2w, and a JHS modified GE-7 are the only BOSS pedals that I've been using lately :0)

I usually keep to the same riff during a demo so you hear the differences of the pedal more. Mix it up more on the guitar demos lol. Cheers!!

Only have a few boss pedals most of my pedals are Digitech My favourite boss pedal 2 use is my probably my FDR-1 but i should say it's my TU-2 tuner only coz it's my most used Boss pedal does that count 🤣

@@BenCoombs The MXR modified O.D. is also an over looked pedal with many options that I find on more modern o.d. pedals now.
