I need to make an updated video as a follow-up actually, because this video is over a year old now, and to be honest, I am mostly using my older scale still. I feel like my older scale gives me data for my body fat % that is more comparable to the results I get from DXA scans than this scale. I have another DXA scan coming up in 2 weeks, so once I have that next data point, I will actually dig in and make the comparisons again and put out an update video. The scale is inexpensive enough I'm not mad about it, but I have a lot of doubts about the information is is giving me on body fat %, lbs viceral fat, etc.
@@chompnbustle Thanks for the update. It's only 30 euro in Europe for this wifi scale ( amazon ) so for that low price I will give it a try. I now have a scale with only bluetooth and it is not fun to look for my telephone every morning when I want to weigh myself. I also have a professional inbody scale in the gym so I can compare them when the scale is delivered. Sorry, my English is not very good yet.
@@chompnbustle @Richardlhizu suspects that at least for the non-premium Renpho scale the body mass is not based (just?) on measurement of impedance, but maybe mapped from the weight. He observed the exact same body fat percentage for the same weight over a long time. 🤔 ua-cam.com/video/zG3ttbsVTws/v-deo.html
Thanks for the review. I am thinking to buy this scale
