I like the idea of the orange being placed behind the clear layer to sort of dilute the color a bit. It’s not as jarring as full orange but still allows for nice visibility of the interior. Very happy to hear the zipper pulls have underdone a lot of thought and reconsideration. The idea of Scottish waxed canvas on the face and xpac liner sounds really awesome. It’s all Trakke on the outside and modern tech in the inside. Perfect. Finally, I love to hear this will be a more minimal design. Sounds like a lot of DNA from the Storr. Finally finally, QAP! YES! Can’t wait for this one.
Wow guys- love this discussion. Marrying heritage and modern is a fun way to play with Muir. I know Blue canvas isn’t a typical color for collabs but man would it be fantastic as an option other than just black/dark gray

@@trakke_bagsI liked the round metal pulls too… you can just run some cord through them to mute them, but I get it, I know a lot of peps complained about them… I have been waiting for a white and orange bag for a long long time. So far none have been really what I was looking For, until the “Glow Worm” I tried so hard, so hard to snag one. I had 4 devices and 2 people helping me, sadly to no avail. I will have to wait and see what the secondary market looks like 🤔. If I can find one, and I am not getting completely |= |_| < |{ £ |> on the deal I would love to swap the zipper pulls back to the round metal one, at least for the top 2 main access zips and the laptop compartment. Then leave the quick access and bottom main access zips with the new pulls. I don’t know I might have to play around with the placement. Look at me talking about mods and I don’t even have any leads on one of those beautiful bags. ( I have not seen one in Pearson yet but I think it might be the most beautiful bag I have ever seen. Well as the great Chase Reaves says I am rambling again… GREAT JOB GUYS !!!
In regards to it being a 1.5 bag (bag + sling), it sounds like they may want to do something similar to Storr and the Gigha sling. Here are my thoughts: I don’t consider the Gigha a sling, personally. I think it’s a great feature of the bag for modular storage solutions but as a sling to wear…I don’t see it. Gigha is more of a panel or insert. Which again, I think is a great idea for organization within the bag, but I just don’t see anyone wanting to carry a panel as a sling. I certainly don’t. Being able to swap panels of different kinds is a great idea but not to carry on its own. So in my view this is a 1 not a 1.5 and I hope if they’re going to market it as a 1.5 it’s a backpack plus a proper sling, otherwise just market it as a 1 with the Gigha as a feature of the bag.
