Thank you guys so much for the hard work you put in growing cranberries. We as a society have nowhere near the appreciation we should for farmers who work so hard and are incredibly vigilant.

Yes Warren made the right call! I have the same kitchen Aid hand mixer and also I have the Kitchen Aid Stand mixer . I bought them many years ago and they still work wonderfully, they are definitely powerful work horse equipment in a kitchen because they do a fantastic job every time you use them to mix anything up . I highly recommend spending the extra money for them because they will last a very long time and do a fantastic job mixing up all the delicious recipes that you need a mixer for ! 😊Blessings

Try 1 or 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce in your Big Mac sauce, I make the exact same recipe but put Worcestershire in it one day, I think it’s so much better, I do make my own Worcestershire sauce but not many people crazy enough to do that. We are dealing with the same crazy weather here makes you wonder what summer will be this year. I love my old baking pans like your mothers, hate the new glass ones, glass retains the heat to long and things can overcook. The cranberry cake looks delicious.

You picked the best mixer by far! I have the mainstays one and it's not great. The beaters are tiny at the bottom and barely make contact with especially few ingredients like eggs or anything really. Low speed is like med on most mixers and med and high are barely different from what is supposed to be low. It will mix things but not great at all! I was talking to my laptop saying not the mainstays!

I so understand what Warren means when he said he's not burning anymore wood after you use up what you have! We are experiencing fluctuating temps here in Iowa, too. We've had some beautiful warm days (highs in the 80's) and some dreary cool days (highs in the 40's - 50's). This morning it was about 35 degrees, but I am so over these cooler temps that I wore my sandals to church anyway! 🤣 Great video!

Hi Jennifer… I really enjoy using both of your cookbooks because I know that all of the recipes are “tried and true” …I’d love to create a similar one for my family because I’ve accumulated so many favorite family recipes over the years…of course I always come up with this thought each year in October or November…any suggestions on how to accomplish this if I start now?

I have that pan also. My sister went to an acution and bought me a box of cooking utensils. I use everything she picks up for me.

I loved seeing about the cranberry beds. Your videos are great. I live in the Pacific Northwest and I am not familiar with the wood burner. Could you tell how it works? The loons are awesome. I love the sound they make.

You could go broke on a date day! Truck, canoe, rain x, hand mixer, dinner = broke!
The other day I was going to make your half potatoes. Do you think I could find a video to re-watch? Nope. So I made another one of your potato recipes. We didn't love them, but they were fine. Next time I will write down the recipe right away.

I’m from Connecticut but I r lived in South Carolina for many years now and I have never seen anyone add noodles to chili. Is that a common thing where you’re from or is it to bulk the chili or is it just preference. It looks good and I am thinking of trying it that way. Thank you.

Macaroni in chili is common around here, but like anything it's a personal preference.

I was just looking at the same hand mixer today
I know I had bought one, but for the life of me I can’t find it. The cheap ones do not last KitchenAid is a well-known brand and will last a lot longer.

We didn’t lose power in that storm fortunately they flickered a few times but that was it now we have our generator hooked up to the house so we will never be without power unless they turn off natural gas..

Those abc mouse commercials always irritate me because they make it sound Ike kids playing isn’t learning. But play is how they learn. Reading with them, gardening and baking is learning too
