Your sweet grandma sounds amazing! God bless you for enjoying her company! This Oxides on photo paper is a game changer. Gorgeous...thanks for sharing!
How awesome is that. I have done the photo paper and oxide backgrounds before. Still have them. Think this is what I’ll do with them. Great mens cards! You done good girl!
Love the context of your card front and you did a fabulous job on iit. One thing you might change is when you put your tape on put it on the back of the photo paper rather than on the card outline. It is safer. Another tip is to put a little Tombo glue on the tape as it gives you a bit of wiggle room when aligning it on the the card base.. All things aside I think you did a great card.
I’ve just used a paper towel and I found it worked quite well. Loved how you did the trees and lake. You obviously know your tool very well. Just subscribed today. 😀
I think it looks beautiful with the birds. You did a great job. There are many geese flying over. You did great!!!!! Keep your bird stamp and use them...😁
Arlene Paterra thank you!!!!!!! Im so happy you liked it!! It turned out so awesome! My Dad loved this card so much he framed and hung it in his house!
Really love what you created. Would suggest you edit out most of the mundane tasks, however, such as applying adhesive. But, I watched all the way through and learned something new which is the important thing! Thank you!
Thanks for making this video & sharing it. I've had Stampscape stamps for so long & I think, I've yet to use them.😝😯😕 But, you've just inspired me to try them out. I guess I felt a bit intimidated by them. You made it look, not so hard. TFS! 😃😆😂🤗
Beautiful.... Try using your wipes a second and third time...I rinse mine out and put them in a glass jar to store and then I spray it wep when I need them.....
I started doing these about a week ago & was beyond stunned when I wiped the 1st one off! Had to make more & more. Been experimenting with different textures to layer them with. So fun.
I wish I could give this a like every time I watch it because this is the second time already. My Distress Oxides arrive tomorrow and I already have photo paper, just need baby wipes. My Tim Holtz glass media mat is on back order. I’ve subscribed to your channel, hope to see more videos like this. Say hi to grandma. Hugs.
reallycrazy4paper AWWWWW thank you so much!!!!!!!! I will come up with a new video for you! I love hearing what my subscribers want to see more of! Please always feel free to let me know what you want and what you think!! My grandma is 94 years young :) and is sharp as a whip! Lol.. I will tell her you said hi!! TFS! HUGZ SUZIE :)
Awesome technique....I can't wait to try it. Have you tried rinsing your baby wipe out in water and then squeeze out the excess water, and then reuse it? Just a thought!!! I have a lot of Stampscape stamps from YEARS ago...I used to stamp on my own photos that I would take of clouds...this was before the digital cameras. I will have to get my stamps out and try this technique!!! TYFS!!! 💕
Cindy Rom thats awesome!! How creative that was to take photos and stamp on them! No I haven’t reused the wipes. I have switched to a better method of cleaning my stamps though. I’m using a super absorbent drying cloth that i got in the automotive department, it’s the same thing as the shamy but cheaper and you get a huge piece. There’s a video on my channel about it and the brand name... it’s awesome and you just wash it reuse it! TFS! Suzie:)
Hi....just thought I’d comment on what to do when you get a smudge of ink on the back of your card. I take a kitchen sponge and pat it on the ink pad and pat it on the back of the card making it look marbled. I do that on the envelope also so it looks like that’s the way it was suppose to be. Thanks for the video. I will have to try the distressed Oxide technique.
Bootoyou298 lol!!!!!!!!!! I was on here looking at messages and just kept watching lol!!!!!!!!!! I messed up my edit!! Lol!!! How embarrassing lol!!!!! Oh well you got to see mess ups and all!! 😂 😆
Hi Great video i must get some oxide inks i have the distress and some stamps i have not used for a while so save the penny's . really enjoyed video as you did the same as me with ink on the back ,would love to see more video's thank you .jeanie .u.k.
Handmade by Roxan ...Hi Roxan! The reason you use photo paper is because it’s made to dry the ink instantly, giving you a photo quality result. Glossy cardstock doesn’t dry fast, so you have time to blend the ink. Both are great for different reasons. Thanks for asking a awesome question!
Nice job. . I used to do these cards before I had my stroke 8 years ago and before we had oxides...gonna have to dig them out again. Thanks for sharing . . 😎 😎 😎
@@happywifecraftssuzie6432 thank. I saw that, this heat gun it is used after embosing powder...it is realy necesary or it just speed up this process, too. (Sorry for my english)
Cristina Vladarean when you emboss with embossing powder you first use a anti static, bag then you use embossing ink to ink up your stamp then stamp on the treated piece on paper then you pour embossing powder on the stamped image then pour off all of the extra power then your going to melt the powder with the heat gun. Yes you have to have a heat gun to emboss
Karen Carswell Hi! Yes you can!! You can use all types of stamps! I am giving you a link to the best 3 on the market!! Great idea swirling the colours together at once! Good thinking!
That one with the intense greens and blues looks like your looking down at the ocean in the Caribbean. Breathtaking!

mat color is perfect … beautiful card
A thin line black sharpie will fix the water by the fisherman, and the dot line in the water.

reallycrazy4paper i totally understand.. there are so many things i want out of the new Stampin’ Up! catalog! Add to our wish list! Lol
On what surface are you working? It looks like glass on top on a self-healing mat. Your technique of creating the marbling is great!

Really pretty!!!
Nice card! My son loves to fish! Where did you buy the stamps?
Hi Thank you for sharing. I'm curious, why use photo paper rather than just a glossy or coated card stock?

what you are wiping off is the oxidation
Hi ! Can you, plese, tell me if for this distress oxide inks I must have a heat gun, or it dries with time by itself. Thanks
Cristina Vladarean it will dry on its own, i was just impatient lol.. 🤗😃
