    This analysis is very extraordinarily, whoooow. I loved this song in the early 80ies as a youngster in Germany. Still one of my favourites. Wish you a calm an healthy Christmas. You analized it so fine-tuned, I am very impressed. Wish you and your familiy all the best in these difficult times of pandeminia...

      Yes, although the sequence pattern can be changed from 1/16 to 1/32 and 1/12. I love the simple ways it can be programmed. You can really build up some great patterns. I was especially pleased with the drum sequences I made for the cover I made of Boston's More than a feeling 👍

    Great Sounds! You killed it David. Question, Would you buy the Roland JD-XI now if you were to do it again? I'm thinking of getting this synth. I think in combination with the ASR hydra explorer. I like what looks like easy programming and sequencing.

    • @DavidGordonJDXi
      @DavidGordonJDXi  Рік тому +1

      Many thanks for your great comments. My JD-Xi is now four years old and I still think it represents good value. It is packed with such a lot of features like the sequencer and vocoder which are very easy to use. I love the way that I can quickly make a drum track to practice with my guitar. The bass sounds are very good as confirmed by a friend who plays bass guitar.
      The downside is that it does feel very fragile and wouldn't stand much abuse. The small keys aren't very playable and the velocity control has to be turned off for fear of breaking them. Menu diving can be a bit tricky to begin with too.
      But on the whole, I would still recommend it to a beginner on a budget. It's a lot of fun!
