One of my favorite misheard lyrics is from Enya’s song “Sail Away” I didn’t mishear this lyric myself (honestly couldn’t understand the lyrics well enough to come up with something coherent enough to count in the first place), but ever since I learned about this misheard lyric, I legit can’t hear anything else. It goes, “Burn it up, burn it up, burn it up Papa Joe” I don’t remember what the original lyrics are supposed to be…but it’s pretty easy to notice when it reaches that part of the song.

First off, it's so wonderful to see you again. These misheard lyrics are hilarious. It's so funny that I'll never be able to unhear these even though I knew the correct lyrics to some of them. I didn’t mishear this lyric myself (honestly couldn’t understand the lyrics well enough to come up with something coherent enough to count in the first place), but ever since I learned about this misheard lyric, I legit can’t hear anything else.
It goes, “Burn it up, burn it up, burn it up Papa Joe”
I don’t remember what the original lyrics are supposed to be…but it’s pretty easy to notice when it reaches that part of the song.
It’s just so fun to watch Steve poke fun at these, especially when he’s insulting the website
