She distilled her global expertise into a minimally invasive, cutting-edge approach to the treatment of pelvic pain and pelvic floor muscle dysfunction. With an extensive background in mainstream clinical medicine, she also makes use of many alternatives, holistic and homeopathic approaches. She has published peer-reviewed articles on the treatment of muscle pain in academic journals and works closely with renowned pelvic pain gynecologists and urologists.
At Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine, our pelvic pain specialists provide a functional, rehab approach to pelvic pain. When you visit one of our offices, you spend an hour with your doctor reviewing in detail your medical history and symptoms. Then, we perform an internal exam (no speculum) to evaluate your nerves and muscles. Together, we'll discuss an individual treatment plan that gets to the root cause of your pain and helps you to feel better. The best part: you can begin treatment the same day!
At PRM, our mission is to decrease the time patients are suffering from pelvic pain symptoms.

Treatment would be nice. Instead of making my anxiety worse
Ugh yeah. Also have you gotten better? If yes please tell
Guess she decided to SKIP the treatment portion of the video…
Very interesting and thorough, is there a follow up video on recommended treatments/what types of specialists to see and if there are any safe "at home" treatments to begin?
if you search for pelvic floor dysfunction exercises, videos come up. If you find a local physiotherapist who knows about this, I couldn't find one for spastic muscles.
What about the treatment....
I have this and I went to buy urologist Friday I have to go to a therapist and I have really bad spasm where I can barely even walk it makes my legs feel very weak like noodles and I have a slight case of scoliosis
I have this too! They can't do a pelvic exam on me because they get so far and everything spasms...they want me to come in for another try ..I'm scared because it's so painful.
Hi there just type (DCT FOR PELVIC PAIN) on UA-cam and you will be happy I guarantee you good luck
