- The Zoo in Winter Jonathan Miller
Reflections on a visit to Regent's Park by Jonathan Miller. Surveying the animals in their enclosures, he indulges in anthropomorphic fantasies about their 'offstage' existence.

This video has less to do with Zoos and more to do with Jonathan Miller psychoanalyzing his own perceptions. This is a great documentary because it displays the origins of his later work. Quite remarkable.
Or his insane self aggrandisement.
Wallowing in his delusions of grandeur. An insufferable ' intellectual'.
wonderful :) used to go on family outings on the train , back then when a child
Lady Cerridwen Isolde Moon shadow zoo's are cruel
They're a remix waiting to happen haha
I'd love to see some do this at a modern zoo. Though which comedian should do so?
Bill Bailey
Why won't someone make a remix of it? :(
Im going today (:
3:19 That rhino seems concerned about him?
Keep pressing 7 lol.
Yea this is kinda disturbing. :x
A brilliant documentary which reminds us how cool zoos used to be before their complete pussification in the West over the last 30 years.
to call jonathan miller an idiot is idiotic .........:)
Miller makes puerile jokes of the neurotic behaviour of caged animals. Incredibly insensitive view of creatures forced to live in a minuscule concrete version of their natural habitat.
Do you live a flawless life? Civilisation can take a little while to get going, and the conditions at London Zoo now are certainly an improvement. In my experience the first people to jump on the animal rights bandwagon are amongst the most toxic.
that is rubbish :|
