Day 4 Whittier & we board the ship! Princess Cruises

- On this day, we travel from Denail by coach to Whittier where we board the Royal Princess! It's embarkation day!
Join us in enjoying the travel day down the coast. We stop in Anchorage and drive along the Turnagain Arm off of the Cook Inlet. It is a beautiful drive! We go through the Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel (the Whittier Tunnel) and see our ship in the Prince William Sound.

The first night on the ship, we have dinner in the Concerto Dining room and we give you time lapse video of our majestic sail away.

I work shoreside for Princess during the summer. No cruise for me, that day. Lol.
Did you go through princess or holland america? Reason I’m asking you travelled in train in McKinley explorer which is from HaL but rest seems thru princess

What is a reasonable tip for the driver? We are going in September.
We did between $5-10 for our drivers, depending on what they did, etc

definitely! The tour guides we had were so knowledgeable and all had dynamic personalities
