Ever since Gert-Johan Coetzee and Vicky Visagie got their home fifteen years ago, they made it into their biography. It all started with the first painting Vicky bought for Gert.
Décor wise their approach differs. Gert’s interest lies in ancient Chinese art of arranging spaces to harmonise people with their surroundings - also known as Feng Shui.
Vicky’s influence has been on taking the pieces they have collected over the years and curating them into looks and installations.
This outdoor lounge mixes Gert’s preference for indoor spaces and Vicky’s for Nature.
From the first painting Vicky bought for Gert on his credit card, fifteen years ago - to the completely curated home and now office. This house is their biography.
