Hi there! Have you noticed a subtle tint change when using this filter. I did a test with and without the filter, had exposure the same, and the color with the filter was a little more yellow. Also, how do you use a sun hood with this filter on. Thx! Great vid!!
I'm somewhat new to nd filters, so please forgive what may be a dumb question... Is this filter useful for a 200-600mm zoom lens? Or do long zoom lenses like this cut out so much light that a filter is not needed? I'm getting a Panasonic 100-300 f4-5.6 lens (micro 4/3, so equivalent to 200-600) for shooting wildlife and just wondering if a filter would come in handy. Thanks.
If you're using long lenses with their hoods, they can most definitely cut the light, taking in to account that your shooting anywhere from f8-11. It never hurts to have an ND filter in your arsenal, because you just never know. I would suggest possibly buying a big mm thread and then buying step down rings for them. Thanks for watching!
They do not repel IR, you would need a separate filter for it. There are some VND that have that coating with it but not the Promaster HGX PRIME VND. Thanks for watching!

Great video dude
Is there any color casts?
From my experience, none whatsoever. Thanks for watching!
Question: I just purchased a couple of these filters. Do you know if these also repel IR Pollution or do I need a separate IR Cut filter also?

@@camera-exchange Thanks! I suspected so. I ordered a couple B+W UV/IR Cut filters.
Mine changed the color when I added it in the middle of a Shoot. Do not buy. Had to shoot all BW or dont shoot at all. Bad investment
was yours the cheaper non HGX version ?
