Thanks so much, Paul. Worked perfectly on our Frigidaire double oven. The trick for me was step 2 and only closing the doors just a little before lifting and removing. If you try to close it too much, it won't budge.

thank for posting this video I made a mess in my oven puff pastry dough slide right off the cookie sheet between the over & door was cream cheese rasberry filling along w/puff pastry . Hello, Paul! Thank you for your video. We have had a Dacor oven since 2002 - and the oven door on the large oven has been problematic since we initially received it. The oven door did not shut tightly,,,Dacor actually replaced the door about a year later, as they did with all models that year. The problem did not go away. Recently, after viewing some You Tube videos, I decided to try replacing the hinges, which i did, Although the door closed fine when initially put on....the first time we used it, the problem returned. In fact, it was even worse with the top of the oven door having a big gap. I actually used a bungy cord so that we could continue baking the ham. Help! Do you have any suggestions? I just put it on "self clean" in hopes that it will go back to normal, but have my doubts. No problem with the door locking into position for that function. We very much appreciate any insight you may have. Thank you.....Franco Ciabattoni

Might be worth mentioning ..... on an Old crappy unit ..... we
hen U put it back in ..... line it up and then open it fully and exert a very slight downward pressure on the open door to release the clips ......
