He always looks so happy when he plays this song. His love for his family really shines through.

Love that song. Tim can be funny as hell but he is a great musician and can be very touching.

I absolutely love this song - its sentimental, I know... but I just really like it.
And, yes, I have all of the usual objections to the broadcasts of mainstream Canadian radio stations who subordinate musos like like Tim to plug pre-pubescent, auto-tuned wankers for kick-backs through selling his CDs...
But I still really like it.

I think this is probably the best version vocally of White Wine In The Sun that I’ve heard. 👏

Tim was the only one of the guests who clapped when the show was finished, the two other guests just tried to absorb the applause...

I love this song and I really liked this performance also...maybe it was the smaller space...more intimate

Christmas for a lot of people is the chance to spend time with family. I'm an atheist and cherish the idea of Christmas, not the back story, but the westernisation of Christmas. It's a beautiful time where you can tell the people who will always be there for you that you love them and cherish them. I'm Australian, and I choose not to spend money on lights and glitz, but the "money" I spend is my love and appreciation for my family, who will always be there, no matter what.

Love this song. We will be doing just this over the next few days; drinking white wine in the sun (so long as the rain stays away from Sydney).

This is also my favorite song of Tim's. Very poignant for one who cannot spend every Christmas with family.

You understand that the joke is that even though Tim is playing a Fazioli he's so good that a high class instrument still isn't of a high enough standard to be on level with his talent.

I love this song so much and it just gets better every time I listen to it. Thanks for the upload! Can anyone tell me who the blonde lady was? I love her reactions, she seemed to be having a great time

Do Americans even know that Xmas comes to Oz at the height of summer?

    • @vichraev.5386

YES! At least this American does...one of the reasons this is one of my favorite Xmas songs. The idea that there can be something that brings families together all over the world, religious or not.

You mean the brand of pianos? Are they that bad? I'm by far not an expert, so I'm just curious about it.

he plays better on Yamaha pianos/keyboards/keytars though.

But do you really expect everyone to start acting rationally about everything at any point in the future? I suppose you could even say that expecting people to act rationally is itself irrational, therefore rationality is itself flawed when applied to humans. Or I may just be overthinking this as a youtube comment.

As an USA'n (United States of America un), I hate Christmas. Not only is it the most waste of money in terms of personal decorations, also a waste city, county, state and nation wide. All of those dollars spent putting up lights and decorations for a being who told the Christians not to waste, not make a show... Christmas is just another proof that "American's" are not free. My atheist taxes are used to put on this stupid show. Spend your money on your family when you have to money to spend.
