One of the things that’s most impressive to me is how well he can absorb contact. We all saw how Randle just moved DPOY finalist Evan Mobley around like a sack of potatoes in this years playoffs. Yet McDaniels always stayed solid against him while having a very similar frame to Mobley. After all, his nickname is literally “Slim”. Hell, Lebron couldn’t bully him around either. Those are two guys who are built like tanks and they can’t move a 6’10” 195 pound guy in the post. For reference, MVP Derrick Rose was 200 pounds 💀 He must have insane lower body strength like Rodman did (although the Worm was inhuman with how strong his lower body was 😂), which would also explain how he’s able to go for a second jump so well. Truly a phenomenal athlete
His ability to not bite on pump fakes are so good. Very underrated aspect of his game.
