Hi! Nice shoot... Only two things I would like to say... 1. Periscope discipline... Watch how high your periscope especially if target passing close, for sure she will locate you and start zig zag... Even if you using periscope on the surface, it will be visible quite far... 2. It's really not required to keep gyroangle zero before you shoot torpedo, it takes too much time for manouver, but sometimes you will not have it enough... +/-10 degrees angle is ok for shooting. Good work, keep it up!
Hello again! Thanks for your advice. But, I can't be applied immediately; Because I pre-recorded a huge amount of episodes already. However, I enjoy the conversation with you. really. Anyway, I want explane about the gyroangle setting. First, more gyroangle occurs more inaccuracy. If you shoot the torpedo at range 1000m with gyroangle 001 degree, range of error is 1000m x sin1° = 17.45m. But, I choice other angles if the impact angle is so bad with impact detonator. Second, I want reflect the real-world progress of working. It was needed the serveral time for set the torpedo gyroangle during WWII. Gyroangle could be adjusted continually up to time of fire. But, It was time-consuming hand-cranked work. So I have decided gyroangle first and adjust the other things. Please see this vid from 10:40. ua-cam.com/video/CAO2BYZdfE4/v-deo.html
