Gutted we didn't score more goals, but the main thing is we are through to the next round! We really need to buy an attacking winger in this window! We are really missing Mane!
Boss! Even though it was possibly the most monotonous, dull match I've watched this season, it was solid! I thought that Trent and Gomez were very good, Coutinho looked improved and promising and there were encouraging signs from the likes of Woodburn, Ejaria and Wilson! I believed Studge was disjointed tonight, but the service to him was generally poor. However, I'm delighted that we're back to winning ways, and have finally had our first win of 2017! My MOTM has to go to Lucas Leiva tonight - he showed his experience and his capabilities as a leader. And he scored. Let me repeat because I can't do it often - LUCAS SCORED! Looking forward to 7 year's time - when we'll see Lucas score again! 😂👍🏻I'm sure! On a more serious note, I'm looking forward now to the next time we'll go again against Swansea City back at Anfield in the league! C'mon Liverpool! Let's make this year count and build on this result as a precedent to the rest of the season! 🌟🏆C'mon Redmen! #WeGoAgain #DoubtersToBelievers #WeAreLiverpool #YNWA #⚽️🔴❤️
For me tonight it was amazing from us!! Gomez and Lucas were solid, Lucas got his emotional goal,Woodburn was abit too defensive and Sturridge was shite like I think he needs to leave!! Moreno wasn't too good but EJARIA and couthino bossed the midfielder and again MOTM For me was Alexander Trent Arnold
Agreed, Ojo looked good as well. Future looking good with the likes of Gomez, TAA, Ejaria, Ojo, Woodburn and Wilson. Lets hope they continue to develop to the best of their capabilities.
who gives a shit it was only 1-0. our youngsters dominated their 1st team. and its only plymouth. beating swansea is a must, another draw or loss would see us kiss the league goodbye
amypom123 - If he doesn't want to get hooked/wants to play more games, maybe he should try sticking that round thing in the net, or at the very least putting in a decent shift.
only the youngsters played well in that match, everyone else terrible.... loving Trent, Gomez, Woodburn and Wilson looked like our best player when he came on!
my mum, who has no interest in sports other than olympic swimming and horse jumping, sat down an watched about 10-15 mins of the match, said this is fucking shite got up and left the room!
Karius was the best of us for me, even if he had one or two iffy moments. Couple of very good saves. Into the next round, thats all that matters, though I was hoping for more from the kids.
SaltySAX - Personally I think he went back to flapping at balls played into the box. That could signal his one good performance being an anomaly and not what his normal level will be in time.
Origi oh Origi! For where art thou Origi? Will the real Origi please stand up! Origi and Studge were poor for sure. Definitely a disjointed team as was probably expected, but still should have been better. I hope Klopp doesn't let Origi take anymore penalties. However, on a final note. We won, and Lucas scored!!!!!!!!😂😮👏. Looking forward to a strong performance and result against the Swans at home. Come on you Reds!!
He didn't do anything in terms of working for the team. If you just stand around in a tight defence waiting to be served goals on a golden plate, of course you won't get that service (at least not very often) and whenever he had the ball he was not good
why didnt wilson take penalty ??:0( ojo was ok but some how booked for simulation ?? ref was iffy dan should of pen in first half glad phillpe is back got minutes gomez was good as was t a a kids or first team for wolves chelsea at home soon i know what i would do ! :0) see the pastie klopp got massive !!
Good to see Wilson having minutes tonight, and of course super Lucas scoring
Funny how Coutinho was strolling around yet still got an assist and created chances. Shows how good he is.
Meme Meme reminds me how much we've missed him for set pieces
And that's why we love him! LUCASSSSS
MOTM for me, what a boss!
Lucas - the adopted scouser
Gutted we didn't score more goals, but the main thing is we are through to the next round! We really need to buy an attacking winger in this window! We are really missing Mane!
Have to give respect to Plymouth they did overall well for the games.
The kids did great tonight, some were very composed. Unfortunately Sturridge and Origi looked like the reserve squad members in the team tonight.
very rare that you win a game and come away feeling embarrassed
Simon how do you feel embarrassed. Who cares about the score we won.
I think we should put Origi on pens all the time.
I think we should bring back Charlie Adam for that

LUCKYYY!!!
Need to play the kids next round as we have Chelsea the following Tuesday and for me that's a must win
We actually looked better the more youth players we brought on. I'd imagine thats the familiarity from playing together at U23 level
Trent is the only youngster who could start any prem game
Woodburn was brilliant, especially when switched centrally. He looked so comfortable on the ball for a 17 year old.
All Liverpool and harry Wilson. love to see him getting more minutes under his belt!
Agreed, Ojo looked good as well. Future looking good with the likes of Gomez, TAA, Ejaria, Ojo, Woodburn and Wilson. Lets hope they continue to develop to the best of their capabilities.
Sturridge has some serious attitude problems
MFH96 Hes not meant to be happy being substituted off.
MFH96 his time looks to be coming to an end at Anfield. We're making chances but need a consistent finisher.
we need a striker if we wanna win the league this year.
RIP Daniel May
Lucas looked world class tbf
PackedMouse lol for the first time ever
We won, didn't we? 4th round, here we come. Job done!
Job done.
who gives a shit it was only 1-0. our youngsters dominated their 1st team. and its only plymouth. beating swansea is a must, another draw or loss would see us kiss the league goodbye
Flashy Firmino but "we will probably lose to a shit team away" sounds like a doubter to me
Anyone see Sturridge's face when he got subbed off

We've finally won a game of footie in 2017

Jay Smith right not sure how someone could think he was the best in this match! Sir flap a lot

Both strikes were poor Origi and Sturridge and service is not an excuse. Trent Alexander Arnold just looks amazing
Goals have dried up in 2017
No Mane no party
every other rival fans were makign a big deal of us drarwing now let smilf it 1 0 10 10 10 10 woooooooooo

how come you guys don't travel to away games anymore ?
sak1806 cos they're too lazy Paul likes his ass sitting on the couch instead
sturridge was trash in this game....disappointing from him, kids were pretty solid though
He didn't do anything in terms of working for the team. If you just stand around in a tight defence waiting to be served goals on a golden plate, of course you won't get that service (at least not very often) and whenever he had the ball he was not good
Imo both Sturridge and Origi at are goal per game strikers Origi needs to stop learning from studge or we should buy buying else
Flashy Firmino I hate that excuse game didn't have the excuse he's been disappointing
