Poor! | Plymouth 0-1 Liverpool | Chris' Match Reaction

- Chris thinks the 0-1 win by Liverpool over Plymouth was still poor but did find a couple of players performances encouraging, namely Trent Alexander Arnold and Loris Karius but he was made up that Lucas got the header to separate the sides!

When you're feeling down all you need is some Lucasade!!
Fuck it, we won, job done. It isn't strictly come dancing..
RetroUnlim no idea what this means but love the positive feel of it
RetroUnlim liverpool were shite make no mistakes, lets be honest was lucky to draw 1 - 1 with united. will miss out on top 4 if these performances continue...
A K not really United never looked like scoring until the Dictator came on.
lol like it haha
Sturridge looks done to me, injuries killed the guy. Time to cash in? as for Origi, he showed great potential last season and this season, he's been below average. Lets hope they both get back to form.
Are you forgetting the 5 in 5?
Well he did have a run of good form this season, wouldn't say he's been below average. Think the way we play with high intensity has crushed our stamina especially with the compressed fixtures recently.
I agree a bit , but if he keeps putting shifts in like he has , you can't conclude anything else really , but like you I think he is quality on his day ...it's just not been his day for a while , however if it's Klopps system maybe Klopp should should adapt a bit , players come first not systems !!! players win games not systems .
We were not good. Lucas and TAA stood up but not anyone else. 1st team players needed to show more and our depth needs to improve its quality. Thoughts Chris and anyone else?
it's tough isn't it. i can totally understand why the performance was disjointed but i'd still hope for more!
The Redmen TV I think the problem is that we don't as fans expect more of our youth and depth, which is crucial to keeping them accountable for poor performances
Lucas & TAA yes, but also Gomez looked to be coming back to form again tonight. Didn't do much wrong & looked cool & in control on the ball.
Aaron Bloch thoughts...we won! On to the next! You make good points!! But we need to face it, we are punching above our weight...this roster on paper is mediocre at best with all of our players we are decent(it's klopp and his system and confidence he's instilling in the boys) but just imagine how deep we will
Be next season! Let's enjoy the wins however they may come! No real need in sulking especially after a win, not that you are just saying
Liverpool vs Everybody true true
Boss! Even though it was possibly the most monotonous, dull match I've watched this season, it was solid! I thought that Trent and Gomez were very good, Coutinho looked improved and promising and there were encouraging signs from the likes of Woodburn, Ejaria and Wilson! I believed Studge was disjointed tonight, but the service to him was generally poor. However, I'm delighted that we're back to winning ways, and have finally had our first win of 2017! My MOTM has to go to Lucas Leiva tonight - he showed his experience and his capabilities as a leader. And he scored. Let me repeat because I can't do it often - LUCAS SCORED! Looking forward to 7 year's time - when we'll see Lucas score again! 😂👍🏻I'm sure! On a more serious note, I'm looking forward now to the next time we'll go again against Swansea City back at Anfield in the league! C'mon Liverpool! Let's make this year count and build on this result as a precedent to the rest of the season! 🌟🏆C'mon Redmen! #WeGoAgain #DoubtersToBelievers #WeAreLiverpool #YNWA #⚽️🔴❤️
Cai Fôn Davies full=solid
Great to see Gomez playing well tonight. Looking forward to a Gomez/Matip partnership soon!!
Ivor Scrotumic keep looking
who cares bring on wolves 1-0 games are the most important games of all
That was almost painful to watch, again.
We need more quality depth, that's clear to see but I trust Klopp to do that in the summer.
cloudy chill the latter
Wolves fan. Can't wait for the away trip to Anfield!! Remember that 1-0 win for us there, one of the best away days of my life
Callum Stokes *there
realised soon as i posted lol
Callum Stokes history channel
Wasn't a good game. But we are through to next round. Let's move on. The treble is still on?????!!!!!!😂😂
Joe Griffiths so with the emojis does this mean you don't really think the treble is possible
see where we are in May ..we progress like I said we would and will can on ..
you wont be when we win it ..we did play our youngest team ever in the first leg and by far our best team in the replay next round , no one will even remember this game when we are shaking the cup around in May .
Lot of players got game time that we may end up needing in the first team later on in the season. Origi, Sturridge, Trent, Moreno and Stewart could all be called upon to do a job at some point. At the end of the day we're through, job done
We really do need a finisher with consistent quality. So many chances created and not converted. Sturridge certainly seems off the boil.
Last three or four matches have been below par in the finishing department. At least Lucas is consistent, he scores once every seven years.
a win is a win. guaranteed three points on saturday with the big boys back
Fred McHugh best comment so far!!
yes more like it positive .
No BS But I actually fell asleep in the second half!
Didn't think Sturridge was bad, he was making good runs, moving left and right just wasn't get the right service
Kyle Sutherland you can't be serious
Trent AA was amazing, imagine him in five years. Deeecent.
Ejaria the new Didi Hamann
remember a similar side beat leeds in the league cup give some credit to Plymouth they didn't lie down
I can't see Sturridge at Anfield for too much longer
When you look at Klopp's face It's hard to believe that he isn't thinking of replacements. I love Danny at this club but I trust Klopp's vision of this system more.
I trust Klopp's vision .. I don't mean to be rude , what vision , he's one dimensional , he has one way of playing , teams just have to play long against us or park the bus and there is nothing we can do , Klopp will be gone , he's not a bad manager , but he has no vision at all .
I see more hope now than under Rodgers at least. I don't even think Klopp can get us to a title but I think he can elevate us back to more of what we would all like to see us be.
no chance Spurs a good side who will get top 4 but never the league !! and Klopp win a league he's less likely next year than this !!! everyone will get to grips with his style .
haha will they f**k !!! and then you wake up they are shit , a draw with Stoke now they're champs I don't think so.
why's everybody slating Sturridge he didnt get enough service hes better than origi all divock does is just run do stèpovers ànd the ball goes behind him have you seen Sturridge s goals to goal ratio one od the best in the clubs history great player smart all he needs to do is be more energetic since he came back from the injury he assisted a last min goal against Everton scored against stoke and scored against Sunderland 2 goals 2 assists in his last 5
The FA-Cup has it´s own laws !! We won - that´s the most important thing !!
Where this is a silly question but where do you get those ynwa cushions from?
It is silly... Because all you have to do is a simple google search.

Lobbandy lol thanks mate 😬👍
MFH96 anfieldshop.com
Probably stole them
Your a legend
If we want goal from sturridge we have to play him like united play zlatan, up from as a goal poacher. No pressing, no tracking back, just a finisher. Similar to augero. All there effort and energy is on find space to score.
Klopp can persisted with firmino but we all no he's not a finisher. This summer I defo what a solution to our striking problem, origi still raw, firmino not a finisher, sturridge injury prone. Someone had to go to make space for a proper finisher that fit klopp style
Where's Grujic? he should be playing that game
injured
Giacomo Pieroni amazing that this question still gets asked..google GRUJIC for crying out loud
Liverpool vs Everybody I knew he was injured but I thought he was back
Giacomo Pieroni You think players out injured should play?
Giacomo Pieroni So you didn't know he was injured
We got a ugly win plus it was chance for Jurgen to see new players
Klopp said we played direct errrrrrmmmm
Says poor yet doesn't give a single player below the average score of 5... you're better than this Chris.
Consistency.
No goals from open play in 2017. A little worrying.
Sturridge and Origi were poor
We won we move on the next game.
Trent Alexander-Arnold will be our first team RB in 2 years time remember this comment
Fair play 😂
Abysmal but are through somehow. Lets hope we're a bit better against Southampton and Wolves in the coming cup games.
Abysmal some players were Origi was and few others , thought the young lads did ok mate , it wasn't the worst I've seen , but much to work on .
chuffed for lucas ,
Sturridge was piss poor and was embarrassed to be hooked, these are league 2 (4th division) and he couldn't knock snow of a rope, but he needs games in a row and he's not gonna get them is he, might not even make the bench for Saturday, I wouldn't be surprised.
Ella Brophy 12th man from now on..much better coming off the bench for us..that's clear..sad very sad to see where he is now! And I think this is the last season in a red shirt
in fact the side against plymouth was probably better
it seems all we do now is shitty crosses it needs to stop, especially against weak oppo
where is the Studge pace of 13-14
karius scarey mary
Job done move on. Swansea next at home. C'mon Redmen
Goals have dried up in 2017 😥
Pablo Moposita and only one loss. We good
Celebrating against 2nd tier team . Ynwa
