I really like the pacing in this video. Its slower, less jumpy, less cuts, more organic and natural, more calm. Like a natural conversation. Keep going in this direction! You guys did a great job with this video!
Thank you for actually showing a ride of this model. This is the only Air video I've seen with it in action! Getting this one in a couple weeks and it'll be my first scooter 🥳
Great video. Important to know how it feels to ride. I think a great comparison would be the Ninebot, F2 pro vs Apollo Air 2023. Both have a good front suspension, very good tubeless tyres, similar motor specs, and are in similar price territory.
Trying to decide between the Apollo Air 2023 and the City Pro 2023. Im 203lbs and 6'5" but love the light weight of the Air. I've never owned a scooter before and its just for recreation. Suspension on the City looks fantastic. Hills arent a problem around me, but wondering if 203lbs is too heavy to get the most out of the Air. Looking forward to the full review but any additional insight is appreciated! You are my go-to guys for scooter knowledge.
so im noticing there is basically no room put any extra lights on the cockpit or even the phone holder. i have the original, i had to adjust the cockpit to make things fit. Maybe in the full review, add on attachments to show us that the accessories they included indeed fit seamlessly? thank you so much for your reviews! you guys are why i bought the air 2022
Thanks so much for the feedback. The phone holder that it comes with fits neatly on the left side, though it blocks the view of the "M" button. In the review you'll see a lot of shots of me riding with the phone holder attached. I did the whole range test with the phone in the holder, running the app. -Paul
Looks like the Air 2023 has less range if in Eco mode and not as good for hill climbing compared to the Max G2. Battery is same size as the G2 but lighter weight? The KQI 3 Pro could be found for $560 though
Is the headlight and ESPECIALLY suspension, better than the Max G2? Everyone says the ride quality and suspension is really good on the Max G2, but their headlight is not great. Hopefully both suspension and headlight is better on the Air 2023 than the Max G2
I was weighing up between the Apollo air & and the Segway max g2 After owning the Apollo City in the past, and I loved that scooter, I found the Segway max g2 has so many better features and quality features. Apollo ( con ) turn signals on the end of the handle bars ? Drop the scooter you will crack the end plastic piece. The Segway max g2 design is much better with the turn signals built in the handle bars. Apollo ( con) The handle bars are to thick, even though they look prestine, you can not attach a phone holder due to the thickness of the handle bars, and we’re you can, it gets in the way of your grip as you ride. I also think the front shocks of the air look cheap and have no style ‘ in my opinion, compared to the Segway max g2, were it’s more refined and better quality look. In my opinion the Segway max g2 is an overall better scooter. Don’t get me wrong, I love the Apollo scooters, and there innovative ideas, but they need to address a few design issues.
Hello! One thing I was wondering is if the scooter can be carried by the stem when it's folded down. Just wondering for carrying it up stairs in an apartment or something.
@RiderGuide I'm in your hood; based in Berkeley. And you already know I swopped tickets to the RiderFest portion of Micromobility. Paul - I just sent you a friend request on FB.
I was going to look into apollo until I saw that video of the handlebar stem just shearing off from the body.... I mean you expect that from cheaper units like the hiboy but not these...
Which year and model was this? Scooter stems take a lot of force and if you look hard enough there are examples from every brand of one-off failures, but we never know the whole story of what the scooter went through prior to a problem. The air has a brand new stem latch and even the frame has been revised for 2023. We weighed it after filming and found it to be a couple pounds heavier than the 2022 model, so presumably that weight comes from a beefier frame. -Paul
I love the afordability of these rides but damn usa needs to make bike lanes separate from the death lanes where cars rule supreme. Who cares who has the right of way when you are dead... I come from a country with the best separated from cars bike lanes yet all pevs are illegal. Really questions the intentions of law makers. Sponsored by money not the environment.
I can see using this scooter while waiting for an oil change on a dealership. Stuff it in the trunk, go ride and have fun riding and getting a snack, come back to the dealership after oil change 😅
Thanks for your input, we’ve been planning to do more content this way, so we really appreciate your input. Can you elaborate on what it is that you don’t like when two of of are presenting. Maybe there’s something we can do better. We’re still getting used to doing first impression rides this way. -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide riding and switching was the problem but 2 people talk about a scooter infront of you is no problem but riding and switching was abit anoying for me ,,
Great job, team! We can always trust you to put our scooters to the test. Glad to see you liked the updates!
Nicely done! I already loved the ride quality from the Aramid tires on the 2022, but the tubless tires on the 2023 are noticeably better. -Paul
Its not available in Croatia 😟
Hi Apollo
I literally just bought 1 of these 5 days ago and couldn't find a review back then. I am glad to see the content still coming. Keep up the good work
Thank you so much! A full review is on the way! -Paul

It would be great if you could do this same style of video for the Apollo City 2023.
Thanks for the input

We would def choose the city pro! It’s worth the dual motors and better suspension. You can use code RIDERGUIDE for $50 off either of those scooters.
I just got mine 2 weeks ago. And I’m noticing the suspension is quite stiff compared to the 2022 version. Any suggestions?
should break in soon!
Looking forward to seeing the hill climbing capabilities in the full review. Thanks for sharing.
Coming soon!
Can you do a video with your most expensive scooter and cheapest and compare them
interesting idea!

I have a City Pro that has the same handlebar. I put a GoPro sticky mount just next to the display (it barely fits) and put a light on it.

All are great values!
would love to get it in amsterdam NL
How long does it take to get to the max speed 35kmh
Depends on riders weight and conditions!
Is the teverun blade mini pro a good scooter?
We haven't had a chance to test it yet, but the Teverun brand is related to Minimotors/Dualtron so it should be a decent scooter. -Paul
Have you guys tested the City single motor? I haven't seen any reviews on that on and I want the pro features but don't need the dual motor setup.
Dual motors is the way to go! For few hundred more it’s well worth it.
Love you guys!
Is the headlight and ESPECIALLY suspension, better than the Max G2? Everyone says the ride quality and suspension is really good on the Max G2, but their headlight is not great. Hopefully both suspension and headlight is better on the Air 2023 than the Max G2
Both are excellent options! Air is lighter, we like it.
So the Apollo air 2024 did they ad any thing or is it the same as the 2023 model
Minor upgrades!
are these handlebars interchangeable for the city pro etc etc?
Don’t think so!
How this one compare to gt1 segway? Also is this the dual motor version?
This is the single motor version!
I want to get the Apollo air 2024 you guys done a review on that yet
The 2023 one is up to date and pretty good! You can grab $50 off with code RIDERGUIDE
looks good
Thanks for watching and commenting! -Paul
Is the Apollo City Pro worth it over the city?
We think so yes!
What if we can't spend that extra money though?
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide
Thank you i got an Air
What is the price? I didn't see it mentioned
It's $999 for the 2023, but the 2022 model is still available for $849.
Inflation price rise dang. I know they added a few extra bolts but $150 worth?

If I want lightness I take my mten4, the smallest electric unicycle available with a 29 mph top speed 😎
We're looking forward to testing EUC's some day! -Paul
I have an mten3 and love it. Got a master too for speed.
Cool looking forward to it. All pevs need some coverage.
Hello! One thing I was wondering is if the scooter can be carried by the stem when it's folded down. Just wondering for carrying it up stairs in an apartment or something.
It can be!
I got mine yesterday...how do you put mph on
You can definitely do it in the app, but I just looked in the owner's manual and don't see a way to do it directly with the buttons. -Paul
@RiderGuide I just figured it out. Thanks and can't wait for your next video
How turn on the blutooth on the scooter?
Yo! Can I come through and test ride the Air and Pro?!
Where you located ?
Apollo will have them at the Micromobility conference in Richmond CA coming up soon. I'm not sure if they're doing rides or not. -Paul
