Justin was my coach in 1987 and 1988. He was always looked up to by all of our squad, was kind and inspiring. We never saw a glimpse of anything less than a man who helped others. I will never forget him

Sad end to his life. Praying for his soul. Heres my story about Justin. Shortly before his death in the USA he played in the New Zealand soccer league and I saw him play in an exhibition game in Mount Maunganui. Many of us had turned up to see him but he was clearly past his best. There was one part just in front of us where he made a tackle and we all cheered ironically. Justin turned to us and made a comical gesture shaking his fist in mock triumph. It was really funny. A little while later I heard he had passed and was really sad to hear it. I always remember that moment in the game as you saw he had a good heart. I hope he is with Jesus now, I am sure he is.
Wish his family did a better job supporting him. I know times were different then, and people didn’t understand sexuality, but they acted like that one part of his life defined him. He was their brother or son, and his sexuality was just one part of his life. I can’t believe his family just completely stopped talking to him after he came out. I think if his story happened today he would have received much more support and understanding. I wish things had gone better for him ❤ RIP to a legend

I used to go cycling with him from 1984 to 1985 When iwas 19 I first met him Because she had a puncture and I fixed it for him He said he was cycling to recover from an injury I used to meet him up Woodborough road in Nottingham He had a bike that said Shimano on it Much better than my crappy bike😂 I moved to Kent I wish I had stayed in Nottingham and carried on cycling with him😢 You couldn't meet a nicer person 😎
I feel for Justin. The mentality that 'where you put your bits' defines who you are needs to change. Cloughie was wrong to treat Justin the way he did.
Rest in peace to him he was a 1 off who many wont forget so sad he died all alone having a pending case in the usa... He was not the same at forest tho...

A version of this without the banal incessant bgmusic would be a great documentary to be proud of making. Having recorded perfectly fine narration, why ruin it with anything more than a dash of music?
I personally felt that the tone of each piece of music went well with each particular part of the documentary in which it used and that helped to add some substance to the piece. Plus it prevented there from being heavy gaps of silence throughout, except for the only part where music isn't used, which speaks for itself. I appreciate you taking the time to give your feedback, though. I do appreciate it.
