  • Hey guys! Just wanted to make this video, since I have had a few questions regarding my Moms diagnosis of having STAGE 4 METASTATIC BREAST CANCER. I figured this would be a good way to get you all acquainted with what living with Stage 4 METASTATIC BREAST CANCER is like. My Mom certainly has an Attitude of gratitude even though she is constantly fighting a battle, every second of every day. I can truly say that when life gets tough I often think about the struggle that she goes through. Shes got grit, that for sure. I have linked a few things that you may find interesting down below. All items will be regarding METASTATIC BREAST CANCER, or just CANCER in general. Hope you find some of these links helpful. *We are not doctors, please consult with your Dr before trying anything new. This is just what has worked for my Mom in her fight with BREAST CANCER.

My mom was like your mom. First time ever had cancer was at stage 4. She had her ribs crack. It became like a brain off her breast. It got so big until she finally removed her breast. Your mom is a miracle.. absolutely a miracle. The only reason she had breast removed for palletive care to make her feel better. We had videos of asking her every question you can think of... Favorite color, favorite food etc.

Huge THANK YOU to Summer's Mother for being so open and sharing such a difficult experience with us.
The interviewer came off as seriously lacking in sensitivity but maybe that's how she is coping with this and attempting to have a lot of control over this interview.
The mother sure handled it with incredible grace!

I figured I’d get comments like this. My mother and I have a past that no one will ever truly know, or understand. I don’t know where I exemplify a lack of sensitivity in this interview. I’m literally trying to just keep it professional. You have no idea the tears, or worries, or hours spent next to my mother’s bedside if she has a stay in the hospital. And yes, of course I’m attempting to control the flow of the interview… I am the interviewer…

This was a beautiful interview. Thank you for giving your mom this platform to inspire other women and men with MBC ❤️. I also loved the background sounds😂. This is exactly how my house sounds with my 2 year old and 10 month old lol

Aww I am so glad you found this interesting. I love my mom, and truly see her as an inspiration. And yes I assume most homes with babies sound very similar! hehe!

Was scared to watch this but glad I did. I've pass4d my five years. So would be good to get at least another three.
My oncologist told me he would soon knock out the liver mets as he put me back on intravenous chemo and said it was more easily controlled than lung cancer. Mine spread from breast cancer to both lungs, two in stomach now gone.
Little in bones don't want to know where.
Can't believe the nurse started off your lymphodaema. I had it very quickly trying to cut through a palm tree. But spoke to someone who got it eight years later. Can come anytime.
    Keep fighting
    I pray.
    It's what calms me too.
    God bless.
I'm British but live in Spain under the same Spanish National Health system.
    So no money changes hands.
Was lovely to hear the children.
    Thank you for the video.
I have seen videos of people who've been cured.
    God willing.

My oncologist tells me as of now in the USA they don’t have a cure for my type of MBC.
Their are so many types of MBC (metastatic breast cancer)
I was tested with the genetic test called TEMPUS TEST which test 131 different genes so they might be able to target the gene causing this.
Sadly ~ mine is environmental MBC
My mother nor grandmother had breast cancer.
      Be well warrior sister 💪🏼

      That would be wonderful!
Wake up one morning and say
      “I’m cancer free!”
Nothing is impossible so I always stay positive and hope for the best!

I am also stage four diagnosed stage four the first diagnosis. They also thought mine was stage two until I did my scans… I don’t show up in a bone scan having bone metastasize I show up in a CT and MRI and then they did a bone biopsy I just had 5 mm sprinkling kinda all over with a little larger one in the middle of my spine and lower spine… I am ER PR positive… I was diagnosed December 2020Letrozole just an estrogen blocker. I was on target therapy initially and Xgeva shots to strengthen my bones… I ended up going to a larger hospital in Chicago Northwestern medicine and they took me off all the second lines of treatment and currently I’m just still on one pill a day… I just pray they keep coming up with more treatments that are less, toxic to our bodies I did end up getting a infection in my jaw from the bone shots and had discontinued those after four shots ironically, I had a DEXA scan last year and my bones are perfect. It’s just a strange disease. Everyone is so different… God bless you and your family, wishing you well and thank you again for the interview with your mom. I really appreciate it!
