@@amazingcars1324 old group c cars have basically zero downforce compared to even LMH cars, 3.5L cars might give them a run for their money. Maybe a properly tuned 962 can also fight since it used a lot of underbody aero while most le mans prototypes now are using flat floors due to safety
I heard some news that DTM and Super GT are working on a new Class One, based on GT3, but faster. Really hope something to have again something like GT1, Traction Control and ABS doesn't belong in the pro category of racing like the GT3 now. They are fast, but just miss the wow factor.
Hopefully it works this time unlike 2020. It's supposed to be a GT3 on steroids formula but I don't if I'll work as neither the DTM and WEC went ahead with GT3 modifications

The biggest disadvantage for road cars tends to be the tires I'm willing to bet that Ferrari with the same slicks as it's race version woulda won by a huge margin
not if the challenge car started ahead or if a human drove the challenge car, it couldn't make up any time with the downforce and weight advantage it had for 90% of the lap because it was stuck behind and the ai has no confidence in just going off of the racing line
I think the only types of racing cars that haven't appeared on this channel yet are the late night/dirt track/short track stock cars and drift cars like formula drift
I think that the Ferrari 488 CHALLENGE EVO makes a better lap on an empty track, since it was seen that it was trying to overtake the Ferrari 488 PISTA but did not give it space
The price for a Ford GT is at over 600k surely, these things got so expensive, some have sold for almost a million dollars Also a Porsche 911 GT1 Strassenversion/normal GT1 is at like 15 MIllion, thats crazy

488 challenge evo makes 720 hp as well the normal challenge makes 670 The 911 street version is the wrong car the right one would be the one like the bahraini owned one and the one in the porsche museum also really not fair racing a GT500 car against a road car
For the GT500 (super gt) I won't have choose this car, because it is really to much faster than this GTR Nismo (take the GTR Nismo Schulze Motorsport GT3 2023 GT3 would be better comparativ no ?)
Lol folk don't understand that race cars are engineered to generate as much grip as possible so even if the road car has more hp, it's gonna get killed on the track
your pilots dont know how to drive properly =) massive overturning the wheel everywhere driving skills are too weak but if both drivers has a same level thats not be a problem. just compare but driving failures screw me up

Right on. Racing slicks would make the road cars 2/3 seconds faster
The other part is brakes. Most road cars (even very high performance ones) just don’t have the stopping power of racing cars.
