I would get the nighthawk for an office and the tplink for a personal set up.

10 gigabytes per second is 80gbps. Huge difference between a bit and a byte. There's 8bits per byte. So one gigabyte per second would be 8192mbps

Wi-Fi 6 is great, but very short range, I don’t have any devices to connect via Wi-Fi 7…. Overall, The performance is slightly better than the RAX200 it replaced

      Agreed.
Hope the range was a bit longer.

Does anyone know of the number of simultaneous supported devices is there a limit for the number of 2.4GHZ devices? I brought a new 6E router and found out the hard way that is it useless to me. I have a lot of smart home devices and most of them can only support the 2.4 GHZ band. My new router can only support less than 30, 2.4 GHZ devices at the same time.

WiFi 6E routers often support up to 8 devices.

@@SmartHome101 Thanks for the response, but that is not what I am talking about. Every Wi-Fi enabled device has to be able to get an IP address from a router so it can be used over your network. I guess I will have to ask the tech support of the companies for the answer? I need to know how many IP addresses can each router support in each band. Especially in the 2.4 GHZ band since most of my smart devices operate in that band.

@@mj1s735I’m looking at a router also, if you find this out, please post back, have multi items that are on different bands. So each mhz band is important on how many devices per, 2.4, 5, 6

@@2012hansenracin Right now I am eyeing the TP-Link Archer BE800, but it is like $599. I can actually use all of its advanced features, especially the 10G NICs. I still need to contact their tech support to varify how may IP addresses it can support in each band simtaniously. It sure would be nice if it would go on sale during the holidays 😊

There is a big difference between gigabyte and gigabit ! You don't seem to know this, so nothing you say can be taken seriously.
