This was a great step-by-step video! One thing you should mention is to have the window rolled down. I couldn’t figure it out but I finally did. After all that work all I needed to do was replace the switch. The auto parts store told me this is all I would need but I didn’t realize it didn’t have a switch as well. Would’ve been cheaper to start with the switch.

Thanks guys, this worked pretty well for the Nissan X-trail 2004 too. I used a second hand regulator and I'd advise anyone to reconnect the power to test it before re-attaching all the trim. Having the power connected also allows you to line up the window bolt holes in the replacement regulator with the access gaps in the door (which are small). Working perfectly now.
