Today i made my first spider, i did it with handmade tissue foil, it was very difficult because the paper didn't let me do some folds without struggling in the process but, after 2 hours of shaping with my hands, the spider came out very very realistic, thanks for sharing your knowledge with us
Amazing, I love your tutorial, they work for me, thank you very much! It`s hard to shape the legs. I changed the paper and took some wrapping paper for sandwiches and now it looks quite like a spider.
Mostly really thin paper like 'unryu' or any other mulberry paper (you have to threat it with MC glue, otherwise it won't work!). BUT for this model you can use a slightly thicker paper, any paper upto 60g/m2 i think :)
You’re supposed to use textured paper and then shape the curves to your personal taste. He used smooth paper in a good contrast color for the purposes of a tutorial.

I may not of gotten very far but I did make a nice looking tent out of this design lol
gostei do modelo mas só uma observação é que eu achei engraçado q n é o msm modelo da capa, mas de qualquer forma é um modelo lindo

Where do you buy kami in this size? Every origami shop I Know just sells Kami in size of 15x15 cm :(

La de la portada o screen, no es la de Manuel, es la de Robert Lang/ the spider on the screen belongs to Robert Lang not to Manuel.
