The problem with Ruroc was they paid quite a few influencers to promote their helmets and they praised them to the skies uncritically. Then when people got the 3.0 the helmet wasn’t quite as good as they said in terms of build quality compared with a comparable shoei or arai . The 4.0 is the helmet that the 3.0 should have been and they have cut their marketing but the bad name sticks. I have unsubscribed from a number of people who were paid by Ruroc to promote their products but possibly would buy a Ruroc if I could try the helmet on in a store to see if it fits me before parting with any cash.
