Many Japanese migrate to Malaysia because the culture and food in Malaysia is totally different with Japan. They like Malaysia many Japanese food, Japanese shopping mall and supermarket....Shibuya crossing and New York Asia look alike at Bukit Bintang 😂
Experiencing differences whether good or bad is what holidaying is about. Glad you found many positives in Kuala Lumpur. P.S. I like the thumbnail because it showed our Ducky Queen and a durian aka the King of Fruits! :D
What a good experience Yuka chan. Looks lushious with the birds singing that way. Haha, the 7-11 is place to get a job it seems with so many employees there. Wow! It seems that you enjoyed and which allowed me to safely enjoy it with you. Thank you and have a Happy New Year!👏

Malaysia is like a friend country to Japan , because of how its previous Prime minister, Mahathir think and praise highly to Japanese and Japan . That's why you see a lot of Japan brand, products and shops available there
Huh? You're in Malaysia? Totally unexpected! Anyway, welcome. If you arrived one week earlier you'd have seen KLCC packed with anime cosplayers attending Comic Fiesta. Some Japanese artists also attended the event.

Have you had any culture shock while watching Japanese livestreams?
Let me know!
Not in livestreams, but in Japanese dramas, I felt a bit shocked to see 90-degree bows and dogeza🙇.

Those "asian cup noodles" in the store at 08:08 were from Maggi, the German brand....so German style asian cup noodles conquered Malasyia 🤣

welcome malaysia 😁
Interesting to see how much Christmas decorations are up in Malaysia, they are mostly a muslim country, and muslims don't celebrate Christmas. I guess it's more of a secular celebration. We have Malaysian restaurants here in Canada (the Toronto area) and it's pretty 'authentic', but of course, it wouldn't be the same as street food in Malaysia. I had culture shock the first time I visited Japan, which was Okinawa. Seeing the toilet with the benjo only lol, that worried me at first. Thank you for the walk through Kuala Lumpur!
There are high percentage of christians in some cities on the peninsula side & the 2 states on borneo island. Famous schools in cities that were founded & ran by missionaries during British times still use the names 'Methodist...', 'Convent...' & names of Saints.
Thank you! Your story about Okinawa made me laugh too

You can't put durian in your thumbnail and not showing yourself eating durian! 😂
Haha trueee next time I should try
Im also in south ease Asia. In Vietnam now. You should eat durian, its good 💯
Durian! I'll try it next time!
3:03 Malaysian streets are not made for pedestrians in mind. Which is sad. The newer part of town has good sidewalks. So different to Japan. I love walking in Japan because it feels safe.
5:10 I don't think that is kindness. They have to do it or else they would have to clean the floor. Because Malaysians are lazy to put their umbrella into the plastic, so the staff have to do it for them. I have seen people just walking around the mall with a wet umbrella and the floor gets all wet and muddy.
5:37 Just a warning. Don't stand under the monorail track. A few years ago, a man died when the wheel of the monorail came off and fell on him.
Thank you!
