I love both darTZeel and Stenheim. However, Stenheim Alumine 5 in particular sounds very boxy in my opinion.

I have the stenheim Alumine 3 paired with ch precision a1.5 power amp . It’s a very nice combo. I use no pre amp , instead using the volume control from the dCS dac
