I order after yours and ordered in smaller amounts but they were still all thrown in there together just like yours. I was lucky I think because there were fewer they didn't break but they have got to change the packaging on those! Thanks for the video! I love these and found the wear time to be amazing!!!

may i suggest formula x sephora base coat. legit my manicure lasted 14 days(I've tested like 5 times by accident) lol. i used regular polish. hk girl top coat. also you swatched 42 shades of nail polish. WTF. i feel lazy. i get annoyed after about 7. lololol. great review.
2 broken orders is crazy, you put a lot of work into cleaning the bottles up & having to file the shards of glass down, they made a deal w/you since it had to be shipped twice & both times they were a broken mess, girl call & get your monies that's due to you, they need to learn from their mistakes & you are amazing for doing this w/the whole collection, thank you for being so awesome & taking your money & time to do this for us ❤

I just love the cool, calming shade of the walls in the background of your nail filming area. I would call it robin's egg blue -- it's so soft and pretty! I bet you feel energized yet calm and Zen in that room!! :)

Thank you for the swatches! Wow, I don't think I've ever called amazon, I've only ever emailed them. Then again, I've never had something so horrendous happen either. You should try shooting them an email about not getting the rest of the $100 back. That way you won't be wasting so much time on the phone. Though I completely understand not wanting to waste any more of your time period.
I'm excited to try these..my polish usually last for about 3 days😩 as a nurse I wash my hands so frequently, I'm interested to see how this polish holds up🤔

I ordered mine from Amazon ad well and was shocked to see how they were delivered. I only got 2 bottles at once and thankfully nothing broke. My top coat bottle did get a bit scuffed up though. I enjoy the polish but like you had bubbles on several nails....no matter what I did. The TC does erase them though...like magic.
So encouraging, since I'm exactly the same as you - less than 24 hours of wear from regular polish, no extra wear from Sally hansen miracle gel, and mine chip at the corners where they bend too! I'll give this a try!
Kind of weird but I think we must have the same nail chemistry! My nails peel (I know you said yours have in the past), mine are soft and polish never lasts more than a day on me either! Glad to hear these worked wonders for you, will definitely have to check them out!

I was EXTREMELY disappointed in these and haven't been able to find anyone else who has had the same issues as me, or felt they performed sub-par. Like you, every single shade I've purchased gave me bubbles, but not just one or two, they gave me TONS, on every single nail. I tried so many different things and applied them differently and every single time, I ended up with bubbles. Frankly, I'm kind of pissed off that I spent so much money on something that wasn't worth it. On the other hand, I'm glad that I finally found someone who had the same problem as me (especially a seasoned nail gal), so I know it just wasn't me or a bad batch I had bought.
PLEASE do a video with your top bubblegum pinks. I have been looking for a true bubblegum pink for ages but every time I order one online it ends up being almost there but not exactly what I want. I am about to give up! Also, most of the ones I find are so old they are very rare to find or overpriced. I prefer mainstream brands but I would go Indie for this one ;-) Your channel is my go-to for nail polish!! Definitively the most reliable and straight forward on youtube!

I bought a pink nude color without knowing the brand or formula, I just wanted a nude color for my nails, after using it a couple of times I fell in love with it!! I keep using it Everytime I need a touch up or I peel it off under warm water.

Great job and thank you. Wanted to say that a year ago I had splitting frustrating nails. One of the minor side effects was cracked polish at bottom/tip of nail. I tried pills and low to high end polish/treatments. The only product that gave me any improvement & I now swear by is Nailtiques Formuma 2 Plus. I saw impressive improvements with just one .25oz bottle. I hope that you can see an improvement and your nails that they'll stop breaking also that you'll have better lasting manicures. Best wishes

Great review! I can't believe Amazon did that, wow, so horrible. You said that you haven't found a top coat that stays on well. I forgot, have you tried Seche Vite. It is great for me. The only issue I have had is that if it's very old, the polish will peal off when dry. I just get a new bottle. You are amazing. :)

awesome review! boi amazon! sorry about the wear problem. I recently discovered a trick: base is Essie Ridge filling BC or OPI Nail Envy, then UNT ready for take off, then polish as normal. I was trying to get a normal peel off but found that it did not want to budge at all. no chips either but i took it off after 4 days (polish addict). 💙
From your photo "Find Me A Man-nequin" looks like SH's "Pacific Blue." Did you notice a similarity? Sorry about Amazon, they have been hit or miss with shipping recently. The only polish I think I would consider is "Spool Me Over." Great review as always.
I was very hesitant on these polishes seeing how Essie tends to chip on me faster then any other polish I own. Which is rather dissaponting considering how much they cost in drug stores 😒. But I just might give some of these a go! Also, are you going to be posting a swatch and review on your new accent glitter collection soon? I've had my eye on a few since you posted them on your site for pre-order. They look beautiful and im dying to see how they look and apply on the nail! Thanks for the swatches Jess!!
My experience with the Essie GC was so-so. Mine chipped after 2 days and was pretty chipped by 4. Now I am wearing it with NZL Stuck base coat (love it), 3 coats of OPI Precisely Pinkish and 2 coats of Essie Gel Couture top coat. That combo made my usually thin, weak nails very hard. I only have minor tip wear after 3 days (plus 2 breaks which are not the polish's fault). I also have a crack. It's time to take it off, but my mani lasted a lot longer looking nice than usual. 2 coats of the top coat are needed to get more of a gel-like appearance and performance IMO. Still not even close to 14 days, of couse, but vastly improved over my Essie Gel Setter. Sorry I bought 2 colors of the Couture line since they weren't that special but I wanted to try the system.
I've bought several nail polishes through amazon, though not 42 at once, ha. I've only had one bottle show up damaged, and it actually worked out pretty well. It was basically just opened in the box somehow, and polish was leaking out. It wasn't cracked or broken. So I emailed them and they said that since it wasn't sold by amazon just fulfilled by amazon they couldn't just ship something to me, so they just refunded me. I ended up cleaning up the polish with some remover and honestly it's mostly full and works fine, so I'm pretty happy with it.
Thanks for the review. I didn't fall asleep which is amazing! if I might make a suggestion, email Essie and show them the two pictures of the horror you were sent by Amazon. I can almost guarantee that they will make it right for you. They may even send you a whole new collection. I bought a bunch of Nama Stay the Night from CVS. It came with a wonky brush. I wrote to Essie, showed them a picture. They sent me a refund check, and a brand new bottle! Awesome customer service. Even if they do nothing, which I doubt, you will bring awareness to how awful Amazon was in fulfilling your order. I have 4 of the Gel Couture, wearing First View right now. I love the polish. I did find the application a bit thick.
Love Pearl's of Wisdom, and For The Twill of It. And..so many more. lol. I was going to list more, but figured I'd be listening too many after awhile of watching. That shipping was ridiculous! Fun Fact: This brush is the regular wide of the normal europe Essie polishes. We've got much wider brushes on Essies here than in the US. And I love it!

My favourite of all these 'gel but not gel' polishes is actually Wet n Wild 1 Step Wonder Gel. It's an all in one, so no need for top coat, but you still need two coats of the colour. Anyway, I would recommend that brand. I got 7 day wear (that's about the maximum you could get with these types of polish). And, what a shocking story about your Amazon experience! I hope you sort out your problems!
OMG can't believe that this was in July! I ordered like two months ago from Amazon and they still ship them the same and my polishes came all chipped too!
That's crazy. I've been an amazon prime member for so many years. And I think they're usually overzealous with packaging so I'm surprised. Sorry about your experience. That sucks. I do think it's rare though.

I love your brows! Could you tell me what products you use please (and do a tutorial!)? I have been using this nail polish since covid started and I can't get my nails done; I can't say I am in love with it. Chips to easily. My polish lasted about a week before a nail basically peeled half off... The corner raised and then got caught in my hair when I was doing it. I would say it lasted like average polish for me, before my nails were thin.

I was trying to get a normal peel off but found that it did not want to budge at all. no chips either but i took it off after 4 days (polish addict). 💙

From your photo "Find Me A Man-nequin" looks like SH's "Pacific Blue." Did you notice a similarity? Sorry about Amazon, they have been hit or miss with shipping recently. The only polish I think I would consider is "Spool Me Over." Great review as always.

I was very hesitant on these polishes seeing how Essie tends to chip on me faster then any other polish I own. Which is rather dissaponting considering how much they cost in drug stores 😒. But I just might give some of these a go! Also, are you going to be posting a swatch and review on your new accent glitter collection soon? I've had my eye on a few since you posted them on your site for pre-order. They look beautiful and im dying to see how they look and apply on the nail! Thanks for the swatches Jess!!
My experience with the Essie GC was so-so. Mine chipped after 2 days and was pretty chipped by 4. Now I am wearing it with NZL Stuck base coat (love it), 3 coats of OPI Precisely Pinkish and 2 coats of Essie Gel Couture top coat. That combo made my usually thin, weak nails very hard. I only have minor tip wear after 3 days (plus 2 breaks which are not the polish's fault). I also have a crack. It's time to take it off, but my mani lasted a lot longer looking nice than usual. 2 coats of the top coat are needed to get more of a gel-like appearance and performance IMO. Still not even close to 14 days, of couse, but vastly improved over my Essie Gel Setter. Sorry I bought 2 colors of the Couture line since they weren't that special but I wanted to try the system.

I've bought several nail polishes through amazon, though not 42 at once, ha. I've only had one bottle show up damaged, and it actually worked out pretty well. It was basically just opened in the box somehow, and polish was leaking out. It wasn't cracked or broken. So I emailed them and they said that since it wasn't sold by amazon just fulfilled by amazon they couldn't just ship something to me, so they just refunded me. I ended up cleaning up the polish with some remover and honestly it's mostly full and works fine, so I'm pretty happy with it.

I bought a bunch of Nama Stay the Night from CVS. It came with a wonky brush. I wrote to Essie, showed them a picture.
They sent me a refund check, and a brand new bottle!

I have 4 of the Gel Couture, wearing First View right now. I love the polish. I did find the application a bit thick.
Love Pearl's of Wisdom, and For The Twill of It. And..so many more. lol. I was going to list more, but figured I'd be listening too many after awhile of watching. That shipping was ridiculous! Fun Fact: This brush is the regular wide of the normal europe Essie polishes. We've got much wider brushes on Essies here than in the US. And I love it!

My favourite of all these 'gel but not gel' polishes is actually Wet n Wild 1 Step Wonder Gel. It's an all in one, so no need for top coat, but you still need two coats of the colour. Anyway, I would recommend that brand. I got 7 day wear (that's about the maximum you could get with these types of polish). And, what a shocking story about your Amazon experience! I hope you sort out your problems!

That's crazy. I've been an amazon prime member for so many years. And I think they're usually overzealous with packaging so I'm surprised. Sorry about your experience. That sucks. I do think it's rare though.

I love your brows! Could you tell me what products you use please (and do a tutorial!)? I have been using this nail polish since covid started and I can't get my nails done; I can't say I am in love with it. Chips to easily. My polish lasted about a week before a nail basically peeled half off... The corner raised and then got caught in my hair when I was doing it. I would say it lasted like average polish for me, before my nails were thin.

Thanks for the review! O M G! I would be LIVID! Getting them twice...packaged the same way?!?! I, personally, think you should contact them and get the rest of your refund. To me, that is just unacceptable. You would think the people packaging this stuff would know better. I'm really glad you shared your experience with us.
