    Love garden walks with a truly knowledgeable guide. It would be so helpful if you could give the growing zones for each plant discussed, for those of us up north.

    I’ve never heard Maianthemum racemosum called Solomon’s plume. Here in Washington we just call it false Solomon’s seal. I much prefer Solomon’s plume. That’s a perfect name and avoids the “false” designation, which always sounds somewhat negative to me, like the plant is the knockoff or bootleg version of the real thing
