Wow, this really resonates with me. I'm a classic example of an 'over the top' slicer. It's not too noticeable with my short irons but becomes apparent when using long irons and woods. Despite taking numerous lessons, I've struggled to apply what I've learned on the golf course, which has been quite frustrating. Recently, I've decided to add a fitness element to my golf training. I'm now working with a new teaching pro who has specifically identified my mobility issues. Thank you for sharing such valuable content. I'm going to practice these exercise drills every day from now on.
Awesome number of programs👍. My problem is choosing a weekly plan to incorporate the right exercises? I’m 68 yrs old and have had both knees replaced with prosthetics, otherwise in good shape , not overweight.
Thanks Ken, have you seen our app programs? We organize the right exercises in separate programs. You just choose which are best for you and can even organize them on a calendar. Check them out here: www.hansenfitnessforgolf.com/coachingapp
Dear Mr. Hansen, What kind of golf swing recorder are you using and what do you think about it? I really appreciate your teaching about the necessity of physical flexibility and strength in improving the golf swing. God Bless You! Lanny Branstetter
Hi Lanny, Thank you for your positive feedback! We use the SkyTrak simulator. It works for what we need it for, initial swing speed recording, ball flight, and contest with our clients. I would not fit clubs with it, I am not sure of the accuracy of ball speed and it doesn't give attack angles and other info like the Flight Scope or Trackman.
Great video on golf flexibility. I need to work on these tips. The first tip with the stick just rotating the hips is tuff for me. My hips don't move much and I feel like the muscles that control that movement are weak. Thank you for making these tips. I love watching you video on flexibility. Most people don't think about the things you are teaching. 👍
