Nathan tried to write songs with cussing to fit in but he found he didn't like it and so he found a way to sing without cussing. Now I will say in How Could You Leave Us he does say "welcome to the bottom of Hell." But I know he more means the actual place than just a curse word for cussing sake.

My son first started listening to him like 7 yrs ago and would tell me about him…I went to a concert because he really wanted to go but I didn’t know the music but he had a cage on stage that he walked out of, I remember that much.
