They seemed like they were playing 6 on 5 no goalie for most of the game. The most dominant game I've seen in a leafs loss in a long time, maybe in my life. My face hurts...

The leafs played an amazing game, and a few bad errors cost us. The thing is, majority were Ceci's errors, and we can't be losing this game. Hutch needs to stand on his head like you said, because we can't afford to get a back up goalie. We need that RHD, badly.

Steve...I'm not a Leafs fan....growing up in Kitchener made me physically hate the blind faith that the GTA throws behind a team that in my opinion hasn't done anything to deserve it. Oddly enough, I now cheer for the Panthers. But, my Wife still loves the Blue and White. Tonight was an odd mix of pain and pleasure for me, because on one hand I don't like seeing her upset, and on the other I couldn't wait for you to put up your LFR! Steve... I LOVE that you love the Leafs...even after everything, and I LOVE the passion that you speak with into the camera in your basement... so all I can offer you is "keep yer chin up bud..."

I hate to scapegoat any one player, but my god Ceci was abysmal *again* in that game. He was on the ice for only 14 minutes, but it felt like he was out the entire game because every mistake he made ended up in the net. I think it might be time to make Ceci a healthy scratch, throw one of Marincin or Liljegren in that 3-RD spot. At this point, anything is an improvement.
This game is entirely on Ceci, the Leafs crushed the Panthers all game, but kept getting unlucky. Ceci gave up two goals and missed an empty net.
What do the Leafs management see in Ceci that I don't see...I see a train wreck every time he steps on the ice.
I felt like this in 1967 when the Leafs lost ten games in a row and King Clancy became coach while Punch got some therapy. They got over it and so did I. They won the Cup in a six-team league, but you, and I will also get over this. I know - I am old.

their are a lot of similarities between the leafs and Tampa of last year. Tampa played very similar to how the leafs are playing at the moment and we all know saw how that work out for them in the play offs

I was 14 years when the Leafs won their last Stanley Cup. It pains my blue and white blood but my experience tells me that if the Leafs do not get a viable back up goalie by the trading deadline the season is lost. The only thing for this not to happen is divine intervention. Anderson is off a maximum of a week and plays every game for the rest of the season and playoffs and in my dreams hoists the Stanley Cup!

Kyle Dubas hasn't done wonderfull things.......Drafting Mathews=no brainer, Drafting Marner=thanks to Mark Hunter that one, Drafting Nylander=Shannahan's pick, Tavares=always coming home no matter who's GM. Kyle Dubas traded away Kadri For a rental in Barrie(unless he's traded for an asset), and signed Cody Ceci to a 4.5 Million dollar contract. Fire Kyle Dubas
Kappanen came in the kessel trade=not Kyle Dubas' work, Andersen=Lou Lamorello, even Hyman, Engvall, Dermott, Liljigren, Johnson and Gauthier came from Dave Nonis/Shannahan times, other than not being able to negotiate contracts Kyle Dubas has done nothing for this team.
