When I was stationed in Panama Canal with the United State Army in the 70’s , I was surprised when I attended the first Carnival there , to witnessed Tabou Combo in the absence of the band, having its own station or platform where they only played Tabou musics. Can you imagine how that felt to be maybe one of five to ten Haitians from the Army, in a crowd of thousands , listening to to Tabou Combo De Petion Ville. On that note , I’m saluting the folks that were there with me: The late Ambassador Gabriel Anson , Tunier Gelin, Pierre Martial , Frantz MIDI . All of you are brothers for life and we’re also saluting Gerard Blaise from the Air Force. Happy holidays to you all.

Very nice interview indeed! Nonetheless, if the other guys have a chance to talk, there will be so much surprises.... Why Jean-Calude Jean and Kapi never have their says in the decision of the band? Why Elizée Pyronneau walked away and never returned? He never paid respect to events related to the band's 50 and 55's anniversary? Kapi never has a chance to tell his side of stories related to the band real issues. Cultural journalists need to listen to what those guys have to say and cease to listen to only one member - Fanfan Tibot : Ralph Conde(Guitar) , Donald( Keyboard), Yves-Abel (Basse), Ronald Felix (Basse), Dadou Pasquet (Guitar), Elyzée Pyronneau (Guitar), Max Paris -Soso (Keyboard), Jean-Claude Jean (Guitar), Dener Seide (Guitar), Jean Riche (Guitar), Guy (Guitar), Papito (Singer), Gary R.
