I just rewatched this again Chrissy, and got a bit emotional, 🥹 thank you again for all of your encouragement and sharing the love of Christ and learning with us. This encouraged me a LOT today, so thank you ❤️🙏🏼
Beautifully said! My first begged for flashcards and wanted to read I can read books at 3! However, my 2nd son has no interest. We read to our boys during homeschool and every night at bedtime (my favorite time of the day❤). It's hard not to wonder if you aren't doing enough. But this was a nice reminder that they will learn when their time has come!❤
This ! Is just what’s I needed today! Thank you for sharing this video Chrissy, and I agree with you, it’s not about training or trying to make your child read early or be advanced but instead to cultivate a love for reading, learning and living in God’s creation. Also, I can’t believe you are 36 - you don’t look it ! You are always stunning and inspiring !🥰 my fav UA-camr and e-friend indeed ❤️
Awesome! Helping children to explore their interests also leads to learning reading, writing, and math. Children are eager to learn when they pursue their passions. 🙂 What you said at the end about a natural unfolding is key. I love John Holt's book, HOW CHILDREN LEARN. 💖
Thank you, I would like to know how you organize your bookshelves for the kids? Ours is cluttered and I'm figuring out a way to design a friendly book reading area in our home
I know this is unrelated, but I want to try homeschooling my kids in a couple years and I’m wondering how to support their social development. Would you be able to make a video on how you do this? I’m concerned about my children not getting the free play with other children that’s so vital to their development.
So many helpful resources! Thank you. I love that this isn't a "buy one product" video. ❤

It’s a constant reconfiguration for us too! I like to organize my books seasonally and lots of baskets to organize resources.
This is just what i needed to have the peace to trust the process and dont use curriculum. How did you put together the Pink Series?
Love this!Where did you get the little globe?
Hi! I’m trying to download pink series, however it’s not successful. Can you please help?

This is great suggestion! I’ll start putting together some ideas and points for a video.
Do you find boys require more explicit teaching than girls?
