You’re right, they’re poured in Texas at AEND - which has poured for Undercover, MPC, Rollerblade Hydrogen and other highly respected wheels. Because of that, I had no doubt they’d be great quality. May have to get a set of these for my Aeon 80s.

Fun fact, I’ve been told from someone in the industry (can’t name drop) but they’ve an intimate relationship with the company that pours for undercover and UC have apparently pulled production from USA and sent it overseas to lower costs. Don’t be surprised if UC wheels start performing less.

@@JakeyDill I've heard the same. That would really be a shame because Undercover makes my favorite wheels, but at least we have some comparable alternatives. I will say it's unfortunate how expensive quality wheels have gotten pre-Covid.
I'm skating the Undercover Chris Calkins wheels in my Aeon 80s and my experience is really similar to DeezSkates' experience with these: they were noticeably faster than what I had in there previously, while also being long-lasting. I've skated them a good bit and I think I've only rotated them once (granted I skate a lot of transition, with minimal striding).

The wheels look interesting, but I don't like the colors.
I feel ya about the Texas heat. I was training for a skate marathon and had to switch to an off-season of sorts because it is almost impossible to train for distance with this heat.

Take a try Undercover King Of Slides (80mm 90A) - they feels and rolls as plastic (just like aliexpress "Dragon Wheels"). Also i have Undercover Team 80mm 88A - and they are very comfortable for me (totally different from cheap undecovers).

They thought about wheel rotation when they designed this. I hate skating the oither side of my 80mm wheel when I rotate. Im gonna cop me sum of these.

Thank you for the video David: I'm going to order the Cymatics 80mm. I run Seba Hight Light w/rocker/FR 4D frames so I win there. I do mostly jam, freestyle and dance. You're right, I run and love, love, love, love my Luminous for the rink but it's a wood/acrylic finished speed skating rink as well. By the end of the night I can tell I've been skating on magnets. I sacrifice performance with Luminous but - I'm missing out not running regular wheels.
If you know of a setup for running Luminous with Cymatics on a 4/80 frame please let me know - even if it's only one light up.
    Cheers!
    Greg

Once they branch out to wheels in the range of around 84mm to 90mm or so, I’ll definitely pick up some of these!
