I've tested both the Adilettes and Adilettes Comfort, and boy, the difference is night and day. The Comforts are amazing. Like walking on gel. The regular ones are very hard and definitely don't deserve to be mentioned as "recovery" slides.
Croc slides, whatever type of rubber they use to make them. They do a good job resisting stink. Especially if you just wash them every few days they’re perfect.❤

Has anyone tried the Adidas Alphabounce Slides. I used it when I had an Ungiectomy (toe nail removal) and wound debridement. It really helped me walk far distances with comfort and energy return even if I got operated.

I tend to struggle with slides - I don't know why. I have very flat feet so maybe that has something to do with it. When I wear slides I find that they want to skew on my forefoot and the heel ends up over the side (usually the inside of the slide). I buy my correct size - and most all brands do this. The Adidas Adilette does this every time. Would you have a suggestion from these slides and sandals that might not do this?
Do you _want_ super squishy, soft foam under foot? Isn't that just going to cause instability in your step? Personally, I am not a fan of soft shoes because they don't give me any ground feel.
I got blisters from my puma shibui cat slides due them being so rubbery. I have a replica of the oofos. They are really nice, just not as soft as the pumas. Wondering if the crocs mellow would be the best option for longer walk without socks.
All slides are great to slip on and make your foot breathe but “recovery” should carry a lot of weight with it. So I can’t possibly take basics adidas slides or crocs seriously as they are hard rubber and provide no comfort or recovery after your feet swell up or hurt. So Oofos are by far superior because they are designed to let your feet recover and bow shape makes your steps more fluid to help ankles and calves not to seize up. Hookas are great too but harder foam. Yes for beach or shower, you can go crocks but they are not “recovery” slides !!!
Dr. Zach!! You gotta test out these ankle braces called Better Guards, they’re like $200 and supposed to save ankle sprains, pls do a review and let me know if it’s worth it bc I’m very prone to ankle sprains! @footdoctorzach

KANE footwear recovery slides are pretty solid.
Right now…these are my go-to for recovery! I actually wear them more than any other shoe

I like oofos slide great arch support. Also, the asics Antibreeze and Croc mellow.
I have the Asuna 2’s since last year they’re sooooo comfortable but they run small so definitely get 1 size up

Hoka 3’s are great. Version 2 are on sale now and are also good. Note: sizing and fit has changed

It’s your foot shape that happens to me- the crocs will probably be the best for preventing that
I wasn't super clear. Would you put the Hokas or the Crocs on top for someone who has a completely flat foot and needs lots of support?
I switch between the adidas comfort slides and the adidas alphabounce slides depending if I want something soft or supportive.
