- SuperSpeed Golf OverSpeed Training allows golfers to gain up to 30 yards of distance off the tee by increasing club speed by 5-8 percent in as little as 4-6 weeks. Impressed that you are keeping up the protocols and posting updates. Most UA-cam reviews of this product drop off after a time or two because of the discipline required to keep up with the training. However, those that see it through get nice gains. Keep it up! Looking forward to following your progress.
Thanks for watching. I'm working really hard to complete a protocol every 2-3 days. I will complete weekly check ins stay tuned for some really big increases!
One thing I'm impressed by is Thomas' swing--fast but also looks safe in that lower risk of injury since it doesn't have the excessive spine bends some do yet still produces great speed
I started a month ago and I’m seeing major improvements in speed thanks for the info
I started the SuperSpeed training in an effort to gain 10-15 yards with my driver. Have noticed some increase in speed as I go through the 1st protocol, but we have snow now. Once I get over this flu, I'll get back out in my garage and continue the process. Looking forward to improvements for this spring!
Thanks for watching Paul. Stay healthy! Highly reccomend to complete the protocol over the winter!
Where did you get the carrying case for the swing speed clubs????Great video s
Interesting that your speed is starting to climb, will it stay up in the coming weeks
Thanks for keeping up w weekly updates! I’m considering doing in off season. Do you think this is best suited for someone who has swing mechanics really set in stone or is there benefit doing this even if you anticipate tweaks to swing mechanics down the road?
Great series ... looking forward to you hitting 120 mph. I have these sticks, started the program 3 years ago but didn’t stick to the end. I was swinging outside in the street since my Townhouse doesn’t have high enough ceilings. Next spring I need to get back into it after my shoulder rehab is near complete
Thanks for watching Stephen. stay tuned for the upocoming vidoes. I can tell you he is getting closer to 120 mph...
What's your driver set up? Love the really low spin numbers you consistently put up.
Mavrik SZ driver with a Graphite Design XC-6X shaft, slightly longer. He is contemplating a new driver clubhead and possibly an even longer shaft for the 2021 season
Training works. Stick to it and measure. I was at around 108 max two years ago. I saw 120 max last year. Playing speed is around 112 to 116. Had to start over after knee injury recovery.
I wonder what the club speed was right before you went on the second session. Could you test again before the next/3rd session?
Good work!!! Curious , What's your driver head and shaft.....? A Maverik... And a M.A.D.. shaft? I have the Maverik triple diamond, can't get away from it/so good and House of forged code black x stiff with 48 gram iomic grip and 9 gram in back and 8 gram weight up front also going 327 total yards easy at 46 inch, and House of forged exp 260 46 3/4 going 337 yards
I would love to use this training method.
You didn’t mention this is your 2nd posting but wondered if you have been doing these protocols in between your posting or just when you are posting.
Thomas here. Thanks for watching. I complete the protocols every 2-3 days (3 days a week) It's important to have a rest day in between. Videos coiming up will be weekly check ins.
Yet another fantastic video. I’m going to pick these up soon and start. But I do not have a launch monitor. Do you think it’s a terrible idea to do the program without one? I was going to do periodic tests on an indoor monitor after a baseline to track improvements every few weeks. But others suggest I should get a cheap monitor to check my speeds daily.
Oh, and speaking of baseline, what were your swing speeds and carry distances before you started? Thanks!
Hi Eugene Thomas here. I actually started using a swing speed radar to record every swing with the SuperSpeed Sticks. I reccomend one but you don't need it. I have noticed I train harder with the radar in front of me. You will see me using the swing speed radar next week. Baseline numbers were 111.3 club speed, 287 carry going 316. My last test I achieved 116.0mph club speed 312 carry going 334 yards. Stay tuned over the next couple weeks to see that!
Is it as important to keep property swing thoughts and techniques or just Bryson speed attempts Kyle Berkshire speed just ffffing swinggg your hardest ?
On the journey with you.
Keep working hard! I'm seeing some big increases stay tuned the next couple weeks!
How old are you Thomas? I worked with SuperSpeed and had good gains over 6 months a few years ago but have went away from it. I'm looking to get back into it but I'm 42 now and find it harder to make gains.
This is Thomas. I'm actually 35 on Sunday. I have no doubt you will see some nice gains again.
@@2ndswing once upon a time 120 was my normal, now it is about 110 but I'd like to get where 115 is normal and 120 is reachable when I reach for one. Thanks for the reply.
I got so tired after just one session and almost hurt my arm too... my ss was even lower after the training as i was exhausted... maybe the set is a bit too heavy for me... shoulda bought a senior set...
Great gains, I am planning on getting the superspeed for the new year, I got to gain back some of the distance I lost post back surgery
Thanks for watching!
I could imagine what I look like lefty and I’m huge athlete ...😭😭🤦 lol great job keep up the videos
Were the SuperSpeed you are using in the video for sale in the store? Because I noticed you have the plastic still on.
Hi Ian thanks for watching. We do sell them in our stores and at 2ndswing.com. I first started out with the plastic on but when you swing the sticks fast you need a decent grip!
@@2ndswing Thomas - looks great!! Mine arrives tomorrow. On a side note, what’s the exact length, width and height of your hitting bay, as we are building in the spring and want to replicate your setup?
@@2ndswing awesome to see you guys answering comments, yeah I was a little worried you'd lose your grip swinging into the screen haha
Let’s go!!!
Do you only sell it for women? Don’t see men’s on your website
Hi Oren, thanks for watching! We do have men's -- we will fix that link in the description. Here's the link for men's: www.2ndswing.com/superspeed-golf/accessories/mens-swing-training-system/#new
1 training session a week then?
I have been using the Superspeed training tools for 3 weeks and went to the driving range this morning. With an 8i I was definitely 8-10 yards longer than previously even though I had not swing a club in anger in 5 weeks... and that was on a cold day. My aim is to fly that 8i 155 yards consistently. That may not seem far to those used to swings of Thomas's speed but for me that would be 15 yards of extra carry and if I could repeat a similar proportionate gain with the driver that would be nearly 25 yards extra carry. That changes how I play my local course completely
Justin thanks for commenting. You are the perfect candidate to see even more percentage increases than Thomas! Kepp working hard it sounds like you are already seeing the results.
This is excellent... However, if I had your starting swing speed and ball speed... I would be happy with that!
Thanks for watching! Thomas keeps trying to push the limit.
Need a swing speed radar (little white box) to see your gains with the stick. Im sure yall got one lying around somewhere haha.
Thanks for watching Jacob. That has been incorporated into the upcoming videos. It will be in front of me for next video and beyond.
@@2ndswing Hey, which Radar will you use? The old one (white box) or the new one Super Speed Golf uses (PRGR)? Could you compare the radar with you simulator swingspeeds? Should not take more than a minute ;) Thanks for the video!
Thoughts on putting your preferred grip on the sticks? Or not worth it?
Not a bad thought at all. It could be done.
I love the video, but where is the mustache?!
Thanks for watching. It takes Thomas a long time to grow with his blonde hair.
👍👍👍
