Thank you for your info. I guess everyday is a school day! I didn't know that memory wire required a different cutter. Good to know even though I don't currently use it🙂
Ty, ty, ty! I think somehow I managed to order a pair of “flush cutters” that don’t have any flush side at all. False advertising or badly made. Took me the longest time to figure out what the problem was because I’m a beginner. Just ordered new ones via your links!
Would the memory wire shears leave a flat cut on both ends of a gold or silver wire? I’m looking for an option to cut and open jump rings and have clean ends that are ready to weld without any further prep.
Good evening. I have a silly question. A friend of mine has some screw back earrings that refuse to budge. We can get the screw to turn to the left however it just keeps turning and doesn’t ever come off. There is enough room once we are unscrewing to cut the post. Which wire cutters would you recommend to cut the post?
I bought a pair of unbranded side cutting pliers to cut (open) some closed jump rings I got. However, it looks like they're not sharp at the points, but only in the middle. What can I do? What kind of pliers should I use? I haven't got a jeweler's saw, so that's not an option. Thank you!
Thank you for explaining the different types of pliers. I have recently been bitten by the jewellery-making bug and everything is still new to me ❤
I use memory wire cutters for copper wire, nice clean flush cut both ends, no need to trim off or sand any little pointy ends.😊
Thank you!! This saved me from ruining another pair of flush cutters on memory wire! I had NO idea I had memory wire. 🤦🏻♂️

Thank you so much! Iv been overwhelmed with tools, and contradicting info on what kind to use! Namely cutters. So your video was amazing! Thanks.
I went into this video thinking "oh I have decent knowledge about wire cutters", then I realize I didnt know near enough, thank you for this video :)
Thank you so much for your info. If i didn't listen to this, i dont know we should not use other cutters for memory wire 😅
