Jeremy Fowler On Alvin Kamara
Kamara has been a fixture in the top 10, ranking as high as No. 2 in 2021, but Kamara's production has been less efficient in recent seasons. He has averaged 3.87 yards per carry since 2021, which is good enough for 830 yards per season. "He might have hit a wall a little bit," an NFL running backs coach said. "He's still a great all-purpose back and can run all the different schemes, has burst and contact. But the production hasn't been there. Though I think [offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak's] system will be really good for him."

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara is reportedly in search of a massive contract extension despite his declining play. Kamara will turn 29 on July 25, and it’s hard to envision the Saints signing him to a new deal. New Orleans could opt to move on from their long-time starter and embrace the duo of Jamaal Williams and Kendre Miller.

Klint Kubiak On Alvin Kamara
I think it will be really fun to work with Alvin… He’s got a great skill set that we can do a lot of things with. So it’s just up to us as coaches at identifying those things and him putting in the work. He’s been in multiple times, up in my office, talking football. Getting some one-on-one time with him to teach the offense. Getting to know him a little bit, he’s a very bright player, I’m just now figuring out how bright he really is. It’ll be fun to load his plate up

Last year Alvin was sent up the middle play after play, I screamed Kamara Is Not a Battering Ram! His talents are in the open field. Sean Payton designed great Screen Plays that set up some of his greatest runs.
No way I’d ever trade AK too much of a valuable asset to us and a fan favorite 💪💪

AK should be top 10. He had a couple bad years because of PC. His down slide wasn’t on him. He’ll for sure be top ten after week 6.
If he had decent plays he would be, Jr. has been using the same plays for ten years and teams have it figured out same for Taysom Hill they know the plays better than we do

Alvin Is going to outplay every running back on that list this year.. He has been better than everyone of those running backs, including the number 1. Since they came into the league together. I can't wait to see what they are saying by the middle of the year. No one from espn is allowed to jump on our team bandwagon this year after all the hating we have gotten.
