As a matter of fact An Jian Qiu was in my house when the Xu Xiaodong Affaire happened, and being a trained Sanda fighter himself he agreed with him in many points although he thought he didn't like his complete lack of respect. Some friends asked him to challenge Xu Xiaodong, but he said he agreed in too many points. only if he would really insults his family, An Family Kung Fu, he would have to fight him and that of cause he might win or he might loose. We had long discussions about this subject and he explained to mee that in his family tradition it was vital to be able to fight - and not only to show off - which is why he took up professional Sanda training. Many Kung Fu and Tai Chi Masters he told me cannot fight because they never train fighting. People who come to train in my school train traditional Bajiquan or Baguazhang in the mornings and Sanda in the afternoon.
