- This summer we got a chance to visit a beautiful Oahu island. We stayed in Honolulu, rented a car for cheap, went bodyboarding, hiking and snorkeling. Our kids 11 and 6 had so much fun that they want to go back and explore more. We fell in love with Hawaii and definitely will be back. I hope you enjoy our video.
I'm no longer able to get through winter in Minnesota without a trip to Hawaii. My favorite island is Oahu. My soul belongs there!!

We spent two weeks in Oahu last October and loved every second of it. My husband was born there and lived there some as a kid so it was homecoming for him but for me it was an unexpected joy. I am not a beach person so I did not expect to like it let alone love it. We planned another 10 days visit next year. I don't know how you were able to enjoy it in 4 days. It took me that long to get over the jet lag. I enjoyed your video very much as we avoided Honolulu and spent our days mostly in the North Sh ore (heaven). We didn't want to do the touristy things and wanted to hang with the locals and go with the flow. The food was fantastic all over the island. Try picking up some treats from a Seven Eleven. Try their manapua. So good! Anyway, thanks for the video. Can't wait to go back!

Hawaii is my happy place, we go every year and it never disappoints. Get outside of Waikiki to see the real Hawaii. Rum Fire Drinks

I will be traveling to Oahu next week and your video gave me an idea of what the drive will look like going up the Windward side of the island to the North Shore. Oahu is the site of Pearl Harbor (where Japanese forces staged their first attack against the United States in World War II), Waikiki (with its world-famous beaches), and the North Shore (known for surfing).
It had a very somber feel to it.
We should never have War, everything can be fixed through our words. We must mature past trying to hurt others. We are all one. ❤️

Thanks so much for this very well made video! We are going to Oahu Jan 15-22, and actually staying at the Imperial, too. A few questions:
1. Did you bring your own bogey boards? I only ask because when we went to Maui, our room had 1 for us to use. Also beach chairs and towels. Were these provided by the hotel?
2. Is this property right by the beach? I’m handicapped, walking is a challenge so also wondering how far we have to walk to get to the beach.

Thank you so much for your comment. It means a lot. We actually brought our own bodyboards but there was a rental right outside of the Imperial. I am not sure if the hotel had any available surfboard/beach chairs, we didn't use them at the beach. The hotel had beach towels and you could always get fresh once at the front desk. As far as the walk to the beach... The walk to the closest beach was about 3-5 minutes, but to walk to Waikiki, you have to walk through an outside shopping mall and it's about 10-15 at least. If I had a bit more money, I would most likely chose something that's right on the beach. Please let me know if you have anymore questions, I will be happy to help. 🥰🥰🤟🤟🤟
@@Nonrevme thank you for replying. Were the beach towels inside the room or you had to check them out at the front desk? We don’t really wanna being our own cause they take up so much space…but for convenience we might have to if we have to check them out at the front desk everyday.

@@hellokitty2848 They asked us at check-in if we needed beach towels. They had I believe 4 in the room. Then, we just got some more if we needed them at the front desk. It was June and they cleaned our rooms if we requested for "covid" protocol, I am not sure what they do now. I hope this help. I hope you enjoy your trip!!! I can't wait to go back!! 🤗🤗

I already had the voice over for it as well, and about one way tickets and about $700 a month that homeless receive in HI... Maybe next time when I go there by myself. It's so hard to film everything you plan with 2 kids that who never have time for it. 🤣🤣🤣
