I’m just now seeing this since I’m less than a year into the sport, but I just want to give props to the filming, editing, and graphic work put into this. Top notch. This is why I love Jomez so much. QUALITY.
loved the use of colors. like the putting zones or when simon said to grip the disc and his back two fingers colored red. i feel like this smart use of graphics can convey so much more than just a pro speaking. fantastic.
i'm late to this but WOW. Simon is so natural on camera (and this was back when he was relatively new to vlogging), and the graphics are incredible! Great job Jomez and Simon!
This is a very cool video, and I like the video effects - so thanks Jomez! One thing Simon did NOT talk about is Parallax. And Parallax is VERY important when putting in tight situations. Parallax is the difference between the line and gap your eyes see, as opposed to the line and gap your disc "sees" because you do not throw the disc down your line of sight. Typically, you release the disc quite a bit lower than the height of your eyes. To adjust for Parallax, get into your putting position (on your knees or not), and then move your head down to the exact point of your release. Now your eyes can see the exact line and exact gap the disc sees when you throw it. So, make sure to account for the Parallax when putting with obstacles in the way or a gap you have to hit, and you will make a lot more putts.
I absolutely love this! The content, the quality of HD, the production, the music, the transitions, the pan shots and the GRAPHICS are all next level. AMAZING!
You guys should do a whole series of pro tips like this with all different pros. Luv Simon.... maybe even a series called Lizotte's crazy lines and how to execute them and when to use them.
Production quality is stellar. Great job. A video on tactical / technical rollers in the woods and what discs and angles are best would be so helpful. Thanks!
Really loving the Simon content lately! Super helpful and super entertaining! Simon and jomez constantly raising the bar on content and coverage! Way to really take the “Simon line” in disc golf coverage jomez!
Holy smokes! Fantastic graphics!! And Simon is incredibly good at teaching. This is a great video, guys! It would be awesome to see a "putting basics" video done like this one.
Outstanding tips and presentation from Simon. And incredibly clear/beautiful production from JomezPro - those floating 3D targets and disc angle clarifications!! Damn! Thanks so much for posting.
Wow... coming from someone who works in video, this was AWESOME. Graphics work was 11/10, amazing as always Jomez. Keep the content coming, we'll all eat it up.
Great new video series! Simon is a great communicator. I would love to see and episode where Big Sexy explain everything there is to know about forehands, as they are some of the two best forehand players out there.
JomezPro always on the leading edge in video production.. Wow! Excellent adds to the live video, Soooo make it more understandable. Good work. Oh.. and Simon is pretty OK also. =)
Great video! Sweet new graphics !!! Simon as instructor, JoMez Pro film crew and edit, a WINNING combo . Cannot wait to see what you have planned for us this season.
I would definitely like to see more info about your last step in a backhand shot because it seems like it really unlocks or limits your drives. Another good topic would be one Paul covered accidentally in a Brodie Smith video regarding putting uphill and stance.
Coming from a push putter.... What are things the better spin putters do to keep their form, get the spin, all while keeping momentum directly at the basket? Seems like when I try to spin, I get really squirrelly and miss way right every time. Maybe I’m trying to over commit on the spin? Any tips, vids, or examples would be greatly appreciated!!

Great tips! More skins matches!
Great job with this. Let's try to get Paul on his forehead. When you watch him you can always feel how technical his forehand is
Love it. You guys put out amazing content. The the slowed down effects were awesome.
MJ and how he keeps a cool head. Can't think of a time where he acted in any other way than calm or happy
Those visuals are straight 🔥. You guys have come such a long way.
Thanks for the tips Simon and Jomez!
Perfect for those troublesome little bush putts out at Dash's Track you had.
Thorns in your butt!
