Mugler Pure Havane is an absolute masterpiece (along with Xerjoff Naxos) in my book and it's a damn shame they decided to discontinue it! Luckily, I do have couple of backup bottles so I'm good for at least few years. I have never tried Insurrection II Wild but you do make it sound interesting just to see how close these two are. Not really into clones but there were few that I purchased due to all the hype, Armaf Sillage, Lattafa Asad and Lattafa Khamrah and boy was I blown away how great they smelled! Sillage is like 95% close while Asad and Khamrah around 75% to 80% but regardless of how close they were cloned, they are freaking fantastic on it's own!

Got It Since 2 days and wow! I got monstrous performance with it! I have put 2 sprays on my arm at 7pm and the next morning after 1 shower it was still on my arm!
I have iw2 and absolutely love it. Especially in the winter. Seems to be the year of the clones. My 3 favorite winter colognes are Afnan 9pm, Insurrection wild 2, and Cremo Vintage Suede. Love all 3

If you are an adventurous and out of the box thinking person you should try layering Insurrection 2 Wild to Ameer Oud Intense Oud by Lattafa, you will be nicely surprised by how vanilla , sugar and smoke can transform into an addictive mellow /smooth and smoky sweet delicious scent!

I2Wild was one of my first frag purchases back when I started collecting and looked for cheapie clones to popular frags. Along with CK One Shock and Burberry London they used to be my go to tobacco frags back in the day. I've since moved on to more complex tobaccos, but still use I2Wild and Ck Shock as dumb reach winter frags for most occasions. One frag I really miss is Lanvin Avant Garde. Probably my favourite tobacco frag, it getting discontinued was a huge blow. As a Texan, we don't have much winter here. It's too bad, because I really enjoy cold weather type scents over warm weather ones but don't have the climate to enjoy them as often.
Reverse for me here. We get long, cold winters, so I have a ton of cold weather fragrances compared to freshies. Shock and London are great cheapie tobacco ones as well, really enjoy those
Just got it. For $21??? Un Freakin Believable. On the opening I get the smell of the cigar humidor at the store I frequent. Then when it dries down I get a warm amber powdery vibe. I will definitely be trying a layer with moustache soon. Can't Wait.

Okay so hear me out...ready for this? Layer Insurrection II on top of La Yuqawam Homme Rasasi....omg. It is so bloody amazing. I used this layering last year for a Christmas party and got so many compliments. I actually have a backup bottle of Insurrection II.

I've been using that layering every winter for the last 2 years. Easily 12+ hours. Damn can't wait for winter. I remember walking into Capital One last year and before walking out, I received 3 compliments.
I really like Pure Havane myself at times but it's a little on the sweet side for me who's mostly into spicy, darker scents. I just got a sample of Royal Tobacco with my recent Amouage order and I'm flipping my lid over it. Incredible smoky, spicy incense-y resinous scent. Pure Havane still is damn popular with the ladies, though.
@@PostCologne It's very smoke-forward and resinous (think like Nag Champa incense) since it has frankincense in both top and base notes, birch tar and benzoin but for anyone up for that, it's amazing. It's Amouage! ;)
I don't like Pure Havane myself, but this stuff does nail it. It's also a lot like Naxos as smell. As for the best clones, the Divain clones of the Louis Vuittons are remarkable. Some of their others are hit and miss, like their Dior Homme Intense 2011 clone is phenomenal, but their Absolu Aventus clone just smells like OG Aventus turned up to 11, it doesn't have that Sauvage Elixir-esque spiciness. Great if you want an OG Aventus with killer performance but disappointing if you wanted Absolu. Their LV clones like the Imagination one etc are pretty much 1:1 though. Not sure why they get that house so perfectly, but they do. Maybe they've somehow got their hands on the formulas, who knows. Cheap as well. £45 for 3 x 100ml bottles, pretty bottles too - just a classic square glass bottle with square wooden lids. They even come with 3ml samples so if you don't like the scent, you can send the unopened 100ml bottle back for a refund. I'd just read reviews first as like I said, some they hit out of the park and some are just a little on the ok side. I think all clone houses are like that though, Dua for instance make some amazing clones, and some terrible ones too. Some honorable mentions. Lattafa Liam Grey - amazing and very strong Gris Charnel clone. Armaf Milestone - what Milliseme Imperial used to smell like before Creed ruined it. Milton Lloyd The Man - stupidly cheap (like 5 dollars/pounds) version of Fahrenheit, only it's the Fahrenheit from the '90s that was nuclear, not the insipid stuff of today. Montblanc Individuel - OK, this isn't actually a clone as it came out years before what it smells like, but it's pretty much Creed Original Santal for a tenth of the price. Many people actually think Creed cloned Individuel and Montblanc got their own back by cloning Aventus. Raghba for men - really cheap but excellent copy of the really hard to find Scentstory 24 Gold. Bentley For Men Absolu - As close as you'll ever get to Gucci Pour Homme 1. One of my favourite scents of all time and now extortionately priced since it's been discontinued for many years. I still own a 100ml and 50ml bottle of Gucci PH, and side by side Absolu there's very little difference. Same perfumer as well, so likely not a coincidence much like Bourdon creating Green Irish Tweed and Cool Water isn't a coincidence. I could go on as I've tried and own 100+ clones and 200+ originals but those above are the ones that came to mind first.
On clones i I like Insurrection II Wild, Club de Nuit intense man limited edition, Club de Nuit Milestone, Ben Sherman Signature & Icon and Opulent Saffron by Al Haramain ( close to Tom Ford Tuscan Leather with a twist) 👍
Fragrance World Star Men Nebula for Muglers Pure Malt and I absolutely LOVE Lattafas Kismet for a clone of YSLs Tuxedo. Yes Maison Alhambra The Tux is an amazing clone of Tuxedo.I just prefer the stronger patchouli note in Kismet.
EVERYTIME after hype train of every successful clone or wanna be OG prices go wild and people start pricing 2,3x more. Insurrection II / 50e,Flavia Nouveau Ambre 55-60e,Detour Noir 50e etc It drives me crazy. For that prices I'll get myself a real (not a clone) parfum.
I got i2 today and love the smell, the honey note is great though i dont smell any tobacco , but also this is my first tobacco fragrance so not sure what tobacco note is supposed to smell like. Hopefully one day i can get rich so i can just buy pure havane on ebay for 300$ or naxos
Easily adg edt from perry ellis, to Paris Hilton men, to Walmart clones for 8 bucks. I have never smelled pure havne. But have smelled pure malt and wish ster men would come out with pure havne so I could have something close like pure malt. Rip mugler. You will be missed!!!
I needed a fall/winter fragrance. I have Eros edp which is a masterpiece at least to me it is which I use for fall/winter, to the club, bar, out with the boys, and date night but I needed another fall/winter and something sweeter and not fresh and sweet like Eros edp. I’m in California so it’s still a while until fall/winter but I didn’t want to wait because I see that this fragrance sells out fast on fragrancenet so I just purchased it like 5 minutes ago. It went up in price but not much. 3oz for 27 dollars.
